"We wanted to take my mother out for lunch on her birthday, and she specifically wanted to try this deli. My husband and I are originally from Chicago, so as soon as we walked in, we were greeted by the familiar aromas of Chicago delicacies. He ordered the French Dip Sandwich, while my mother and I opted for Reubens. Each sandwich came with a kosher pickle, wavy potato chips, and a drink. The food was excellent and didn't disappoint. The portion sizes were just right. I didn’t inquire about potato salad, coleslaw, or macaroni salad, but those would have made nice additions to the meal. The iced tea was just right, and the coffee was strong and hot, with several flavors of creamer available. They had a temptingly delicious cheesecake for dessert, but we were too full to indulge! The prices are fair for the quality of food served. Just a note: 42Deli currently only serves lunch and does not offer breakfast, even though some Google listings may say otherwise. They mentioned that they might have a breakfast menu in the future, but for now, they do not have the facilities to prepare eggs."

I visit 42 Deli for lunch almost every day. I've tried everything on the menu, and I still can't find anything that's not delicious. The staff here is incredibly friendly too, which is a rarity in restaurants. I highly recommend this place!
