A W All-american Food

Gone downhill. We eat here every year when we go up north. I don't know if its a franchise thing but four of us spent almost $60 to eat food that didn't taste anything like regular a&w restaurants in the metro area.

Several customers left while waiting to have orders taken. Finally, after 10 min with no waitress. We went inside. Overheard waitress say 25 min wait . Left went to Arby's. Sorry didn't have an hour to kill, but ya got me for 15 min

This restaurant is one of the best places in town to dine! The prices are reasonable and the food is fantastic! We make sure to stop by for a milkshake every few days. The service is outstanding and we couldn't ask for better. I highly recommend this place! View menu

It takes a long time to get anyone on the speaker to take your order.. he couldn't hear me very well either.. my fries were cold and hard.. the rest of my meal was great.. We will definitely go back as I am sure these things happen and maybe it was an off day.. I have eaten here before and it is great!!

I was very pleased with my experience. Normally I don’t do reviews but they really went above and beyond with my service. Kaitie was very kind and helpful! She’s very creative as well, she introduced me to her a&w candles and I couldn’t help put buy one of each!! Overall a great person and a great atmosphere!

Worst service ever! We waited for 45 minutes for our food. When it never arrived we found they gave our order to someone else. Had to place our order again. We asked to talk to manager and when she came out she told us she was not authorized to give discounts and that there was nothing she could do about the poor service. I then asked her for the number to corporate and she responded with “well…..I would have to go and get it”. Seriously?!?!?! Worst experience ever!!!!!! View menu

Wednesday evening myself and three others were on our way home from a lovely evening in Bay City and all of us were craving ice cream. My friend says let’s stop at A&W they have the best. We all agree, go into the dining room, discuss what we’re going to have (ice cream and mini corn dogs) and we pick up the phone to order. Loudly an employee goes noooooooo so we jokingly say yessssss. The girl finally answers the phone and says we have no ice cream and no corn dogs but what do you want! We hang up the phone and get up to leave and she’s like sorry, but is all smiles. Will never ever be back.

This week I came here and pulled up to the drive in and tried to place an order, after 5 minutes of not getting a response I came inside. I ordered 2 large root beers, one diet. As I waited for them a mouse proved to run across the floor by my feet. I was so shocked and before I could say anything another customer made the worker aware of the situation. Then the worker proceed to make excuses to me for my the mouse was there. I was told that the woods at the back of property dose not help and also he had been there for at least the hole day and they where just letting it run around by the guest. I recently visited the A&W in Standish and was extremely impressed! The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff who ensured my experience was exceptional. However, the standout was the delicious food. I ordered the bacon burger and fries, and it was love at first bite! The burger patty was juicy and perfectly cooked, while the fries were crispy and full of flavor. The root beer was also a highlight, creamy, sweet, and topped with just the right amount of foam. Overall, I am thrilled that I chose A&W for my meal and I can't wait to return to try more items on the menu. It easily deserves a 5-star rating!
