"Lately, my main issue has been with the wings. I believe in giving places a second chance, but on the times we've ordered them, about half were overcooked and tough, while others were easier to eat. I've also noticed that some wings were definitely smaller than others. I understand that some people in this city like their food fried hard, but that's not what you want from a wing that should be smothered in sauce and easy to eat. This isn’t how their wings used to be. That said, you should make your own decision. I still highly recommend their cheesesteak, and the pizza is still worth ordering, but I think I'm done taking chances with the wings. Spending nearly $30 on wings with such inconsistency is just not acceptable."

The pizza was disappointing, but the cheesesteak and fries were quite delicious.

Food is fantastic but they always, or in my 4 times ordering, they always forget something View menu

Food is ok but very overpriced. It’s no different than all the other subpar pizza/sub shops in the area.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
