"The worse restaurant I have been to in the last decades. Awful food, awful service, greatly over priced, even if the food was good, which it is not! I had Asian crispy chicken appetizer for took bites and left the rest. I next had a hamburger, allegedly rare. Left quarters. McDonalds is much better. I don't happen to be Jewish let lone Kosher so I have no way to compare it, but there has to be much better Kosher restaurants in New York. On top of everything my friend sent back the flounder as inedible and requested any other fish. She got Salmon, which was edible. She checked the bill and of course I got charged for both dishes. We called the manager who agreed to remove the Salmon charge. Now I have charges from the restaurant. One for and another one for I can't call them because I can't control myself. Stay away."

Everything was delicious. The waitress was excellent. The only 'bad ' thing is that the bread was old, but the waitress asked if we want to change it.

My husband and I went to dinner before a Broadway show. It was an excellent choice! The food was outstanding and the service was great! I would recommend it highly and visit again!

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and a wide variety of dishes on the menu. The beef tacos were particularly delicious. The desserts are a good size for sharing. It is a kosher restaurant and the prices reflect that. View menu

I went to this place for lunch with my staff. For the price, the food was just okay, the selection was okay, and the ambiance was marginal. I probably will never go back to this place again unless it was my only option in the area.

Took my wife there for her birthday and had a great time. The food arrived quickly, both the appetizers and the entree were delicious, water was re-filled frequently, and even though we were too full for a real dessert, the waiter gave us a small brownie with a candle in it at no charge. Will return as often as we can justify the expense. View menu

I brought my wife to this restaurant to celebrate her 40th birthday and we had a fantastic experience. The service was fast, the appetizers and main course were delicious, our water glasses were always filled, and even though we were too full for dessert, the waiter surprised us with a complimentary small brownie with a candle. We will definitely be returning whenever we can afford it.

To make matters worse, my friend sent back the flounder as inedible and asked for a different fish. She received salmon, which was edible. However, when we checked the bill, we were charged for both dishes. We called the manager and he agreed to remove the charge for the salmon, but now there are two charges from the restaurant on my bill - one for $287 and another for $292. I am unable to call them because I am so angry. Stay away from this restaurant.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
