It's been a year since my last review and just wanted to follow up, I have had the burrito roll 43 times give or take since then. Forty-three. THE BURRITO ROLL DOESN'T LIE! The sushi quality here is phenomenal , Chef Oui and Mrs. Lynn are unmatched in the sushi game! The quality speaks for itself.

There was too much imitation crab, an overwhelming amount of mayo and sauce, and the pinwheel-sized rolls were definitely excessive. AKI is a true gem in Covington, offering authentic Japanese sushi made with the finest ingredients and the freshest fish. The preparation is expertly done, making every bite a delight. The restaurant is small with limited seating, adding to its charm, and it's family-run, giving it a warm, welcoming atmosphere. You won’t find better sushi in all of Louisiana. I visit three times a month and cannot recommend it highly enough.
