"The Mediterranean Lentil Soup was served cold and had a watery consistency, more like broth than a soup. For the Cheese Pie, I received the wrong dish and ended up with a beef empanada, which, while visually appealing, was not what I had ordered. Additionally, the Lamb Shawarma entrée was missing hummus and instead came with two sides of tzatziki."

This is some of the best food I've ever tasted. The presentation was stunning, the portions were just right, and the flavors were incredible. I would definitely give it a 10 out of 10 and will be ordering again.

The Mediterranean Lentil Soup (15) was served in a coffee cup, and without a seal, it was cold and mostly broth. The hummus was disappointing, and the pita bread ended up soggy from sitting on top of the hummus, yet it was surprisingly dry. The rice was decent, but the lamb and chicken were actually quite good. "It 's not technically a secret menu item, but you need to let them know ahead of time (by at least a few days) if you want to order the Beef Wellington. You might assume that this means it is of a quality that is uniquely exquisite, and I can assure you that this assumption is 100% correct. This dish is literally made in part by a pastry-chef, and the moment you take a bite of the absurdly-delicate shell of I-don 't-even-know-what, you 'll understand why you have to arrange for this sort of treatment: it 's like an opera in your mouth. Underneath that mantle of what I assume is an elevated form of dough reserved for the better seats in heaven, there is a mushroom duxelle that I 'm quite certain would qualify for the dictionary entry if you were to look up the word unctious. Then, the filet. Is there an adequate word in the English language for a perfect medium-rare steak? The best part is that you actually have to be reminded that you 're eating an exquisite piece of beef underneath all of these charms, and it 's only responsible to forewarn you that dipping it in the au jus with which it 's served might just awaken you to a level of luxury you will struggle to equal in other establishments. I won 't even mention how good the wagyu-truffle ravioli was, or how their wedge-salad is served with fully a 3 oz triangle of delicately veined roquefort (bleu cheese) and bacon-bits made of *actual, perfectly cured smoky bits of bacon*. Point being: if you eat meat, this is something you should put on your bucket list. You 're not going to find a better meal anytime soon, after all. 10/10, would recommend."

"This review is strictly on the service as the food has remained consistently good. I've also taken as much time as possible to allow for as an objective experience as possible. When the owners/staff are speaking animatedly and with more energy with other Indian patrons who are sitting at the bar--whether or not they are family friends, etc, but go completely silent when they serve, that's a red flag. I was in the mood for Indian food and was in the area running errands, so I decided to stop by. I didn't really think much of the interaction initially when I walked in and was seated, but this question is directed mainly at the man and woman whom I've seen the last two times I've been here. Is there a reason for the difference in demeanor? There was another family who came in and were seated for dinner shortly before I left, and I noticed they were treated the same way--with complete silence. I'd consider this a nuance of this place specifically since I've been to Indian restaurants in Diamond Bar, Ontario, and Pomona, and there are distinctly more interactive. I wouldn't consider this a nuance of introversion based on what I've seen or heard. I'm not looking to have a heart-to-heart conversation but at least have a basic level of interaction like a thank you or welcome. I thanked the man each time my water was refilled, and I also said thank you when leaving. NO REPLY at any point, and this is not an exaggeration or embellishment of the experience. This has been consistent. If you're going to order for takeout, you're fine. If you're good with silence, you're fine too. I'll stick with Curryland in Pomona. That's a rougher part of Pomona in a small and dense parking lot. The food there is just as good, and least there's an inkling of customer service. I'm done with this place."
