This is my dad's favorite Sunday brunch spot for chilaquiles. I decided to bring my friend to try. They never disappoint. I haven't found café de holla this delicious anywhere else View menu

The Red Chilaquiles are delicious with a nice kick! The Banana Foster French Toast is absolutely amazing—the flavor is out of this world! The Cafe de Olla is fantastic too! Don't forget to try a mimosa before you leave!

It was FANTASTIC! truthfully it was amazing. The food , atmosphere, most of all the service to the clients. They were very attentive and extremely polite. Defenitly a must if your in orange county and looking for a comfortable place to dine with either alone or with family.

The restaurant was understaffed: one waiter and one bus boy. Only 3 tables occupied yet the kitchen and waiter were slow. Owner stock napkins etc. and made no attempt to check on the diners. When we finally wanted the checked we waited nearly 25 minuteswhile the waiter and owner tried to get there new system to simply split a check in two. The restaurant felt quite modest, with only a waiter and a busboy on staff. There were just three tables occupied, yet the service was slow. The owner seemed more focused on stocking napkins than checking on the diners. When we finally requested the check, we ended up waiting nearly 25 minutes while the waiter and owner struggled to use their new system to split our bill into two. Although the food was excellent, the declining service has become a significant drawback. Unfortunately, it feels like it's just too much hassle for such great food.

The enchilada was worse than ever; it seemed more like a taco with a splash of salsa on top than anything else. To top it off, the server forgot to bring steak knives and never asked us what type of tortillas we wanted for our plates. When we mentioned that our order was wrong, he even challenged us on it. I also didn’t appreciate how they handled drink refills; it felt like they were pinching pennies on that front. With the food prices, I expected better service. The ambiance has also changed; they used to play classic music that I loved, but now it’s all reggaeton, which really ruined the atmosphere for me. Every time we visit, we say we’ll wait a few months to see if things improve, but...

I 've been coming to this place for years but this might be my last visit. Not sure if the recipes are different or they got a different cook but things simply don 't taste the same. Even back then the food was sometimes good and sometimes not as much.This time though, i didn 't even finish my plate. Two other people in my party echo the same sentiment, our tampiqueña wasbelow subpar. The meat was chewy, flavorless and full of nerves. Didn 't bother finishing my steak and i actually spat out twopieces. The enchilada gets worse every time i order this dish. Might as well call it a taco with a spray of salsa ontop.
