"Okay, I really wanted to like this restaurant since it's a local business and has been around for awhile but it seems it's run by people other than the original owners. It started with a slight wait for seating, followed by being placed in a middle booth where the woman behind my husband spent the whole time coughing and blowing her nose. The waitresses we had were nice. Hubby had steak and eggs with hash browns, and I had pancakes and bacon . My 3 pieces of bacon really equaled 2 and my pancakes would have been good if I had received them hot. Hubby's steak was super small, cooked the way he wanted but tasteless (and trust me we weren't expecting a 5 star steak at Anna's), his over easy eggs were spot on and he said he enjoyed the hash browns and coffee. So saying, I would have returned to see if maybe lunch or a second go round would change my mind but the hubby pointed to a spot behind my left shoulder and when I looked my mouth dropped....an older lady who worked there and I believe our waitress was behind the counter eating food. The counter where it looked like they took cash, put down food and plates etc..I was like uhm..in the front, where the customers are...it didn't seem like a lunch break for our waitress. Don't you have a break room? It was a total turn off. I will not be back."

I recently ordered Anna's pizza for an event at my church in Hartford and it was excellent. I also had the chance to visit Anna's in person for a meal and it was just as delicious. Anna's is a combination of a diner, Italian restaurant, and pizzeria. The pizza we had in person was also excellent, with a light and airy crust similar to Pizza Hut but even better. I would give the food a 5 out of 5, service a 4 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5.

I ordered a house special pizza as usual, but decided to upgrade it. My son-in-law picked it up for me. When we got it, the toppings were scarce and mostly in the middle, not evenly spread out. I called to express my disappointment, but the manager Selina didn't seem to care. She offered to have me bring it back or receive better toppings on my next order, but neither option was convenient for me. Additionally, I felt like I shouldn't have to pay extra since they already charge a fee for phone orders. I won't be returning to this restaurant. For a great pizza and excellent customer service, I'll make the trip to Georgina's Pizza in Bolton. The $27 I spent on the pizza was not worth it.
