"Went here with two friends and, between the three of us, we ordered the chicken pelau, jerk chicken, and chicken curry (medium). Also ordered the beef patties and the Mac and cheese, along with the sorrel and rum. EVERYTHING ON THE MENU WAS ABSOLUTELYDELICIOUS. My two friends have never tried Caribbean food before, and I?m happy to report that they are hooked. The food waspiping hot, the service was excellent, the serving size for the price paid was reasonable. We just moved in down the street andwe are so excited to be in such close proximity to such an amazing restaurant."

"I was referred to the restaurant by my cousin who swears by it, says it's the real deal. She suggested the chicken parmesan, beef ravioli, or pizza for me to try. So I get the chicken parm for myself and the beef ravioli for my 2yr old son. Whom by the way is the pickiest eater on the planet. I get there and the young lady handling the take out was very polite. I get home make our plates. I decided to split the chicken parm with my son because he saw the spaghetti and wanted that instead. IT WAS AMAZING!!! It taste like Jesus made it. That was the best chicken parm I've had in my life and I'm very particular in how I would like my food to taste. It was also a hit with my 2yr old son. The wasn't a noodle spared between the two of us and he didn't drop anything on the floor. (Which is an everyday thing it seems like! The chicken was a real piece of chicken and not that processed stuff. It was nice and juicy. The ravioli was really good also. However, the chicken parm stole the show. I would definitely put this restaurant in my top 3 !"

"Every time we come to Detroit we HAVE TO GET A LOUIES CORNED BEEF SANDWICH. I've gone as far as to DoorDash Louie's for every meal one day. So 100000000/10 worth it! There's a reason they've been around for so long. BEST SANDWICH IVE EVER HAD."

"The restaurant was really busy with online orders, so going in to order was the best choice. It took about 15 minutes, and the staff were friendly and attentive, even noticing when some customers were getting a bit too loud at the door. When we got home, the food was still piping hot. Unfortunately, we didn’t receive any utensils, but we had our own cutlery and some spices on hand. The hashbrowns were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The eggs were cooked over medium, with just the right amount of runny yolk—exactly how I like them. The pancakes were enormous and quite a challenge to finish. This was my first visit, and while I enjoyed it, I probably won’t return to this location because it's too far from my friendly neighborhood."
