"We got the Squid and Pork Belly Bulgogi and the Seafood Sundubu Jigae. They were both very delicious. However, I feel like you could get similar tasting dishes for cheaper around KTown. I’ve tried a bunch of restaurants around there and I feel like this is just too expensive for what you get. For the prices I’m paying, I feel like I want a dish that wows me. Their service is amazing, though, so I feel like I’m really paying more for experience and service than the food itself. I honestly wish th … – show"

Food is delicious and a great drink selection. Although it's a popular place, the booths make it more intimate and you are actually able to hear the people you are with.

Favorite Samgyetang! Soup Ginseng, Whole Chicken stuffed with Garlic, Jujube and glutinous rice scallions and flaky salt! This place has the best side dishes! Great service! Best Korean Food in the City!

The food was nice, about 45 dollars per person without getting any drinks. The service was lousy though, not sure if it was because of us not having drinks. The rice finally came when we almost finished everything. View menu

Skipped the bbq meat, although it looked and smelled great, and went for some Korean classics. Got the spicy Kalbi-jjim (braised short-rib) and yukaejang (spicy soup). Both were very well prepared and tasted great. Loved how they used kalbi-tang for the base for the yukaejang.

The food was great! We did the $120 dinner for 2! It was great. The portion size was great too. It was my first time trying Korean bbq and hoping to make plans to come back soon. Must also shout out Micah, one of the bartenders. He was super friendly and welcoming! Came out and gave us hugs before we left.

Possibly one of my faves in KTown. First time going back since the pandemic started and it seems like they never missed a beat! Banchans were on point (love the kabocha squash salad, soy sauce eggs, cucumber) and I got the yukgaejang galbi tang, combining two hearty stews into one. The flavor was good and portion size was great too. A good meal in ktown without breaking the bank. View menu

Food was acceptable but customer service SUCKS!!!! We were informed while we were seating down ordering some ice that we have an hour time limit for a table of 11. Once asked why we were told that they purposely over book so they have to accommodate by giving the tables an hour time limit. The waiter wasn't aware of the changes on the menu with the food and gave us incorrect information!!! Our bill came up to $800!!!! Way over price for real!!!

I went to Samwon gardens several times before the pandemic (even on the opening day) and I always thought the food and service were good although a little pricey. However, I recently scheduled a work dinner for Antoya and it was an absolutely terrible experience. It was embarrassing. Antoya isn’t just some rebranding of samwon. It’s completely different and worse. Maybe they lost the rights to franchise the samwon in Korea due to a decline in quality? The interior of the restaurant is dirty and … – show
