"If I could give this spot more than 5 stars, I would. Visiting from out of state and wanted to find a spot with coffee/food/tea variety and we were BLOWN AWAY. The vibes inside were immaculate; cool industrial style set up, spots to sit and casually enjoy your food, nice plants all around, Dad rock music on blast (incredible . We ordered cold brew, matcha, and a few of the breakfast sandwiches all perfectly made. I can be picky with my matcha; love a good unsweetened matcha, but most places have their matcha presweetened (this place has unsweetened! . The barista was able to accommodate the drinks to our taste preference, and they were absolutely delicious. Additionally, the house hot sauce was awesome and cheap to purchase for home! If we ever have the pleasure of returning to the Baltimore area, we will absolutely be making a stop here again!"

Check your order carefully on the screen to make sure they don’t add (and charge you for) ingredients you didn’t ask for or want.

Artifact used to be amazing for people who needed gluten free options, but apparently the chef left and they are getting a lot of their sandwiches pre-prepared so there is no way to get them with gluten free bread even though it is still listed on the menu. Super disappointing. View menu

Paid $16.50 for a BLT egg. Open the box……….no bacon on the BLT. What did I pay for? $16.50, I can’t believe that. I don’t remember the last time I experienced an order being altered without notice like that before. I will not be ordering from Artifact again. Plenty of places in the neighborhood to choose from.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
