"Upon our arrival, we were greeted with a private group party upstairs that was causing quite a commotion, making it difficult for us to hear each other at the table. We kindly asked the staff to request that the music be lowered in hopes that the noise level would decrease, and they were accommodating. The group eventually dispersed and some members came downstairs, resulting in a more manageable noise level. The mussels were delicious and the service was top-notch."

We had a very nice dinner. Food was superb and arrived promptly. Only drawback... drinks were slow. I guess the bar was backed up, which was odd as the restaurant was not crowded. In any event, an overall positive experience. We will be back.

Lovely little bistro in New Haven. I loved the salmon with risotto, calamari appetizer and the pepper appetizer. They had a full bar and a wide variety of cocktails. The atmosphere was charming French bistro white tiles, and banquettes. The wait staff was kind and made the evening fun. I had dinner with my family.

My wife and I had an excellent time, the background music was such that we could sustain a conversation without any effort, but the food was delicious, we had the Black Ink Seafood Pasta, which was to die for. The appetizers were good, in summary, we had a wonderful evening at Atelier Florian. For sure, we will come back. View menu

We wanted to try out Atelier Florián for Restaurant Week and we're very happy we did. The food was great and the service was outstanding. We enjoyed the ambiance and overall look of the restaurant. It was cozy and sophisticated vibes and I would love to come back to try other items off the menu or even brunch perhaps one day.

Atelier Florian is a hidden gem. We visited for brunch on New Year's Eve and were pleasantly surprised. My two boys loved the waffles, my wife enjoyed the breakfast sandwich, and I tried the croque monsieur - all delicious. We also ordered mussels with white wine, which were fantastic. We can't wait to come back for dinner soon!

I absolutely adored the ambiance of the restaurant, with its classic floor and setup reminiscent of an old building in New Haven. The service at the bar was excellent and we were treated to delicious oysters with homemade cocktail sauce. I highly recommend trying the mussels and frites as well - they were both delicious and served in large portions. View menu

After we ordered, our server came back to tell us that one of the main courses was not available. While we were finishing up our main course, the server brought the check (though we had not requested it) and never asked if we'd like dessert or coffee. We asked another server for three coffees and after a wait, they returned with three lukewarm espressos. Just not a good experience overall

We thought the lobster roll which was a bun was just ok for $40. The happy hour menu for fried calamari and drinks were a good value. The salmon was good. Overall, it was decent, but not something I'd try hard to get in. It's not bad, but nothing spectacular either. They could have really made an effort on the lobster rolls, the most expensive item on their menu. (3 of us ordered it and was meh.
