"we were here after seeing our 10 year old son in veteran’s day parade. great eating and the people who work there were very nice. I had the souvlaki plate with huh and my wife had the gyro. I made the mistake of sharing the grilled kartoffels. I'm not saying mistakes because they were bad. actually they were the best kartoffel I ever had. the bad is that I have to reverse the engineers to make home from time to time, and also bad because they were so dang good that I think they were eating them and the reaction on both our parts almost placed on each other. they were that good. they also have a large selection of after-dinner treatments. I picked up some baklava and some of her macaroons. I'm sure. if you go in here. they are likely to leave with several other items. I really can't say anything negative about this place, and we'll return."

Ordered the beef plate. I wanted medium rare they over cooked it. Decent salad but I expected more ...Flame and skewers beef taste better. Plus no hummus with order disappointing.

This is off putting. You should be concerned with drawing in customers not giving them rules upon entry. If customers can’t eat in that area, and you don’t serve cocktails, what is the space for?

Came in with my daughter for a quick lunch date and had THE BEST BURGER in Bakersfield! Athena’s fig burger was so so delicious I devoured it before I could snap a pic! Perfect place to go this summer with its fresh food and cool atmosphere! Even my 4 year old who is a picky eater enjoyed her grilled cheese and fries. omg! 3.5 years here living in bakersfield, and my father in law lived minutes away and asked to go there, we have made lunch today. dad had her new chicken sandwich and couldn't stop fleing about it. I had the athene Greek salate, red bevel instead of green and added pfefferminz and a chicken kewer. absolutely delicious and huge portion. another person got chicago gyro with the Greek kartoffels. the best of all time. we're screwed. service was also great. opah!

we had the circulatory plate that came with frits and salat for a little over $12 and a drink was an extra $2 and some changes. a bit on the expensive side buuut that eating was fantastic and the service was fast. it was empty to the time we got there, but it was clean and as they can see it was full of natural light. this is a great place to have a little lunch with a friend or to have a small business meeting on the afternoon. we are coming back to the final.
