"What 's the No. 1 ice cream shop in Miami, Florida? In my research, I couldn 't find even one negative review of Azucar Ice Cream Factory. Located at 1503 Southwest 8th Street or the Calle Ocho in Miami 's Little Havana neighborhood, it creates artisanal gourmet ice cream and sorbet in Cuban and tropical flavors. Founded in 2011, Azucar is open from 11 to 9 Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 to 11 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 11 to 10 on Sunday. We like it sweet is Azucar 's motto and customers have an opportunity to test it while sampling a menu of flavors that boggle the mind. My wife and I were delighted with cinnamon ice cream with oatmeal cookies, vanilla ice cream with marshmallow swirls, peanut butter and Oreos, Ghirardelli chocolate brownies and chocolate chunk cookies in vanilla ice cream and banana ice cream, chocolate chunk and peanuts. But judge for yourself. Is Azucar as good as advertised? Signature flavors include Cuban coffee and Oreo, Guinness chocolate, coconut flan, caramel, Cuban vanilla, peanut butter and bananas, key lime pie and lemon basil. Classic flavors include vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, banana, cinnamon, lemon, pistachio, mango, almond and rum raisin. Sorbet flavors include passion fruit, watermelon mint, peach, coconut, mango, strawberry and lemon. It 's a great way to cap off an exhausting day of sight-seeing. But how do you decide which flavor is best?"

We tried several flavors. All very creamy. I wish they had more chunks of treats in them though : A must try in Little Havana View menu

I've been waiting to try Azucar for as long as I can remember-- and was unfortunately disappointed. I had the Abuela Maria which had an almost icy, flavor

Very cute ice cream shop in Little Havana. Must try their Abuella Maria flavor which is one of their most popular ones. A little on the pricey side though. We got the kiddie size and it was more than enough to try the local flavors.

My review can be condensed into a single photo of their flavors board. The ice cream was delicious, and you could return every day for two months and enjoy a different flavor each time. I highly recommend stopping by to finish off your day with a delightful treat! View menu

I got to experience why this place is considered one of the top spots in Miami. An amazing variety of flavors with a Cuban touch and located in the heart of Little Havana. This is a must try if you are visiting Miami. One of the best ice creams I've tasted. I had Cafe con Leche along with El Tio and it was superb.Owen

I like to refer to this dessert place as "Catching Flight." We actually came here right before heading to the airport, and we nearly missed our flight! I wanted to end my wonderful trip to Miami on a high note, and this place certainly did not disappoint. The desserts were absolutely delicious, and I usually don't have a sweet tooth, but the not-too-sweet caramel ice cream was delightful. Overall, I'm really happy I stopped by!
