"We've been to Babe's several times and have always left very happy. The manager is very helpful and makes sure to label everything that's vegan. You can get all kinds of sundaes, banana splits, shakes, cones, ice cream sandwiches and even cakes. All of their bakery is made at a local vegan bakery and they always have at least two vegan flavors. The Expresso Oreo Soy is fantastic and they make their vegan whipped topping from scratch, which is SO good! They've asked us for suggestions for other vegan flavors, as well, so they're very willing to expand their selection."

Really good, I usually don’t like soy based ice cream but this tasted just like the real thing.

if they want a really good egg and a food, that could be her place. I am a fan of premium ice cream, large frozen custard and gelato. but they.

vegan and non-vegan ice cream shop. the heavenly sojanebel is my favorite. Topping options are clearly identified as vegan. they only open during the winter months. great place on a street full of sweet shops. View menu

They had a few vegan ice cream options and all of the cones (that aren't chocolate dipped) are vegan. There were also sundae and ice cream sandwich options. I tried the espresso oreo soy in a waffle cone and YUM! It was so good!

so many options and everything tastes so delicious. vegan whipped cream is so rich, without a hint on cocosnus flavor. highly recommended comminuted conus as a topping as well as espresso oreo and celestial sojaeis. the staff is friendly and helpful.

We happened to walk by Babes and take a chance. Well worth it. They had 3 soy flavors and 2 Italian ice flavors. The ice cream was nice and not super hard packed. After paying I noticed the freezer on the back wall that included a few ice cream cakes labeled vegan and a tray of ice cream cookie sandwiches! Will go back to try one of those for sure. View menu

I had a really good vegan brownie sun from here. the only thing that it is amazing to be is the soy ice they use. it is not as creamy and tasty as cashew milk, milk or even mandel and kosmile. it was still good and I would come back if in the opposite. I love all vegan toppings that are available and the other vegan tasty like shakes, ice cream and sandwiches.

Several vegan soy flavors (oreo, chocolate chip, raspberry chocolate chip, plain chocolate, espresso oreo) and lots of options for sundae toppings!! Brownie, chocolate chip cookie pieces, chocolate sauce, whipped topping, etc., plus shakes and homemade vegan ice cream sandwiches. They also do vegan ice cream cakes with cake from east side ovens. All the vegan stuff is clearly labelled and the staff is really nice. Definitely stop in if you need an ice cream fix!

"My husband and I have made it a tradition to try different steak houses in the Milwaukee area for our anniversary. This year we decided on Rare. We loved the ambiance and our waitress was great. We had no idea when the reservation was made that Fridays they offer half off bottles of select wine and we definitely took advantage of that! The Burgess Cellars Cabernet was delicious! For our meals we decided to start out with salads. My husband is a very adventurous eater and eats everything except for onions. He despises onions. He ordered the chopped salad without onions. Upon arrival we could smell them. A few bites in and onions. We sent the salad back and a new one is brought out and guess what. More onions. The waitress said she was a bit surprised since she said she watched them remake it and we were a bit disappointed. For our meals, my husband and I each ordered the dry aged bone in rib eye and brussel sprouts with goat cheese and mushrooms in truffle oil for our sides. The sides were phenomenal. I would go back just for the sides. The steaks on the other hand were not as great as we were hoping they’d be. The char on the steaks overpowered any of the dry aged flavoring we were expecting to taste and the steaks themselves were very difficult to cut. We have never had this issue before at any of the other high end restaurants we’ve been to. This was also disappointing. All in all we rate this restaurant a The service was great (thanks Quinn), the wine delicious and the sides phenomenal. Quinn also gave us a glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary, that was a lovely gesture. We’re glad we tried Rare but will definitely not be returning… well, maybe for those sides!"
