"The bartender was the saving grace for me tonight. Without him it would be a 1star. Our first impression was coming in and the girl at the counter said someone will be with you when they get here.10 minutes later I walk over to the left side of alley and see a guy with a mustache (thin, purple pants, earring) come from bar. I ask him where we can get someone from the front to book a lane. He said:“when they get there. “A person comes we get on wait list. Next we go to bar to get food drinks. Wings come and the wing dipping sauce is not what we ordered. We ask the guy with mustache, he says “I don’t know. I grabbed the ticket and brought it.”Last awful engagement with mustache guy..We got the bowling lane after 45 minutes..we asked how to add more players, he said “read the prompts”.Bartender 5 starsMustache guy 1 star, he was our first impression-rude, could care less, not someone who should work interacting with customers. He did constantly move and remove empties and plates, but don’t ask him ANY questions.Bowling alley : 2 stars -we couldn’t play one round without the system resetting the frame on one of us. (Lane 9 ??)Imagine knocking 9 pins down. Then it resets. Then you go again and hit 7 and it resets.Awful on the bowling experience. I stopped playing at the 8th time. I’m all set in disappointment."

Started the evening with a beer on the rooftop and then went back downstairs and bowled a few frames and had some food. Had a great time!

Saw Dave Gutter and Fishbone here. Not a bad venue. Not enough parking for an event like this. The bar could use a better setup for serving customers in order. Good sound system though. View menu

We recently hosted a team event at Bayside Bowl, and it was a fantastic experience. The staff was wonderful, and the food was exactly what we needed and wanted! Thanks to the team at Bayside Bowl, we definitely plan to return!

I spent a considerable amount at Bayside, where both the drinks and food were excellent. However, the lane we were given had ongoing problems throughout our bowling session. Given the higher prices, I expected a better bowling experience.

We were drawn in by the lively music coming from the rooftop and decided to take a look. The atmosphere was great, with people dancing to salsa and enjoying themselves on the rooftop deck. Attended a private event on the second floor over looking the bowling alley. The bartender was horrible. Very very rude. No people skills what so ever. Everyone at the function was talking about how miserable she was. Seemed like she didn’t want to be there. Horrible service. Probably will look for different venues

This is a long overdue review, but we had THE BEST wedding at Bayside Bowl in October 2022. Micaela, Bayside’s Director of Events, is one of the most kindhearted, down to earth, and organized people to work with. We could not have been happier with her services; she put us at ease. In these last four months since the wedding, we’ve had so many people exclaim that it was the best wedding they’ve been to the bowling, dance floor, and bar of the Private East makes for the perfect atmosphere. Parking can be tricky in Portland, so we 100% recommend working with Custom Coach Limo out of Gorham if you need transport from a separate church/ceremony and end of night transport to the hotel.
