"We were three adults with two (nicely dressed and well mannered) kids at 5 in the evening on a Sunday. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the rude hostess shoved us at a tall bar table in between a service station and the kitchen door. After asking someone other than the hostess were moved to a regular table. The waitstaff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. Service took forever, orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it was pounded with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The one good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were incredible."

"First time here and the service was the best part of the experience. BUT, when it came down to the food, everything was pretty subpar. I had the ‘camarones a la diabla’. The rice for all of the platters was SO dry. Pretty sure it was a day or two old and they just reheat it over and over again so it ends up really dry. Their shrimp was definitely over cooked as well—was very chewy. Their chicken was good a long with their baked potato. Their “ribeye” wasn’t all that great either—pretty sure it was a flank steak. No sear, and contained SO much fat. Seasoned fries were good at least. Their chips were yummy but their salsa was just salsa (not spicy at all). Overall, not a huge fan of their food, but the server was great. He was very kind and attentive to everyone there."

"Absolutely the best Mexican food I've ever had! The woman at the counter was not only helpful but also had a great sense of humor. There were plenty of people coming and going, which added to the lively atmosphere. I ordered the Surf and Turf Burrito, and it was enormous with spot-on flavors! My mom's chicken quesadilla was also massive and incredibly tasty. We also loved the horchata and hibiscus tea. The prices are fantastic, especially given the generous portions."

"The Fish-n-Chips was excellent. The fish crispy and very tasty. Duck fat fries a big plus. The greens, house made tarter sauce and ketchup also very good. The schnitzel was cooked perfectly. The gravy over the schnitzel, was just a little over powering, (the beer taste took over the flavor of the schnitzel) I would order the gravy on the side next time instead of on the schnitzel. But I would definitely recommend a stop here. Nice atmosphere and not to fancy, which makes it better in my opinion. Good for family during the day but probably a good date night destination too in the evening."

"Tried to order two of the lunch specials, was told it was $18+, assumed that was the cost of two lunches. Turns out, the lady accidentally only ordered one. One lunch special, and two drinks for $18+. I won’t be going back due to the pricing, but the food was decent enough. Edit to respond to the reply: Would have been great to know the price of the meal I was buying, wouldn’t have complained about the overpriced sandwich and would have just complained about the overpriced drinks I purchased instead. All good to let me know the Monte Cristo was only 11.99, frankly would have just bought that and been happy with it. Unfortunately, I don’t see any prices on your menu that would allow me to make an informed decision ahead of time, so I can only be grateful that you informed me after the fact! Carolina Reaper salsa is pretty good though, don’t regret buying it cause there was a price tag on it!"
