"I have wanted to come here for years and finally got the chance this morning. After reading many of the reviews I was a bit skeptical but took a chance. Many of the reviews mentioned that under the new management they experienced poor service, small portions, and mediocre food. Unfortunately, my experience was only slightly better than most of sounds like. Portion size was not small. However size certainly does not reflect quality and sadly that was my experience. The biscuits and gravy were huge, however, they were bland and generic. They lacked flavor entirely. The Pink House Pancakes was your standard breakfast diner staple and it met the basic metric but definitely left us lacking. The worst part of that is that the price point for these basic breakfast meals was $5 higher than any other mom and pop breakfast spot. Entirely unnecessary to be that expensive. Our service was great in the first half, but all of a sudden our waitress disappeared, we too experienced what so many other patrons expressed before, and were forgotten about. The location is cute but that cuteness is fleeting. We were sat outside and there is a decrepit building on one side and a disaster of a home only feet away. I would not recommend and would not try again."
