great food and good prices. had the chicken sausage dish and a Swedish pancake. ecclectic decor with a funny old TV fish tank in front. surroundings minneapolis also.

I have usually had brunch here, but just had dinner (get the peanut noodles: perfectly crisp tender veggies and just enough spice) and it was fabulous. Cozy, chill atmosphere and good food.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for lunch, offering breakfast options until midday. It's perfect for those who can't decide what to eat. I ordered the Swedish pancakes which were delicious, the speck was cooked perfectly, and the red curry with roasted tofu was incredible. They also have creative cocktails and a small but well-curated selection of beer and wine.

so a great place to begin their day. from the home atmosphere, when they first foot in the door, to the familiar midwest service that we all love, rounded off by heaping support of comfort on a teller, this is easily one of the best breakfast / lunch / brunch places uptown. many options on the menu to choose whether they are something sweet or a rather tasty option. the prices are what they would expect for a offer of this deliciousness. in any case worth a visit if they are in the uptown opposite.

Blackbird is a great little neighborhood spot, a bit more upscale and pricey than the surrounding restaurants. Seasoning and quality on the food is always very good. Better for dates or friends than just dropping in alone, good happy hour menu. Service is a little slow but that's because they're mostly packed all the time, staff are good about checking in with you and keeping you hydrated. The kitchen does no substitutions. They did change their bahm mi bread from baguette to some soft crustless bread recently too. View menu

I stopped drinking a coffee and doing a little work. Unfortunately, this location has no wlan, that was the only disadvantage at all. I had the sweet potato biscuits. they were amazing! warm, fluffy and delish with homemade jam. the coffee was also excellent and the service was very good. I hope to return some time and enjoy a meal, relax and not worry about the work. I would have given five stars if it had been Wi-Fi, although it is probably not something that should affect my decision. I'm looking forward to the return. great atmosphere and good food.

Accommodating and friendly service and straightforward menu in an up and coming neighborhood. Our party of three had the blood orange salad, burger of the day and scallops plus an order of fries. All was quite tasty. The ambiance is quirky yet upscale. My only criticism is that the portions could be larger and the pretense could be smaller...I'm not saying that the place is pretentious but it is rather like they are trying a bit too hard. By a strange twist of fate this was my second visit to this restaurant in as many visits to the city. I had just forgotten that I had been here before. Anyway, both times were good. :

We made reservations to go here on my wife's 40th birthday. The online reservation program and the Blackbird website said the restaurant was open, but when we got there...it was closed. We had to scramble in the heat and humidity to find a new restaurant (and this was an added frustration since my wife is 25 weeks pregnant). In the grand scheme of things, this isn't a big deal. In the world of restaurant etiquette, however, the failure to sync your hours online is an amateur move. There was even a second couple who discovered this mess-up at the same time as we did, leaving us to wonder how many people arrive at a closed Blackbird on a daily basis.
