"Today, I ordered 4 dishes from Blue Fin. Tonkatsu, Beef Teriyaki, Teriyaki Tofu and Yakisoba noodles with tofu. I've had the Teriyaki tofu before and the tofu was nicely seasoned and fried. Today, the tofu wasn't cooked or seasoned and served over plain, white rice. Bland on top of bland. The yakisoba had noodles that were boiled and placed in the bowl, unseasoned, topped with unseasoned vegetables and uncooked, unseasoned tofu. The menu shows yakisoba with nicely cooked and seasoned noodles. The dish I received looked nothing like the picture on the menu. I've had yakisoba before and this was nothing like the yakisoba I've had in the past. I ended up putting some sesame oil and soy sauce on it at home so that I didn't waste money, but words can not begin to express my disappointment."

Such a delicious quick option! We go to the library in downtown every time. I'll get the chicken catsu with curry sauce. All fans of coco Ichibanya will love it. View menu

A local treasure! I've came to this place multiple times and it's always great! I come here for lunch when I get off work and it hits the spot. Teriyaki bowl is 10/10 with rice or vegetables. Service is also a 10/10.

The food here is awesome! The panko fish so light and crunchy delicious. The teriyaki beef or chicken with brown rice fabulous. Friendliest service. Oh &don't forget dessert. Almond cookies or ice cream plus more. Give it a try! You won't be sorry ? View menu

My family and I used to go to BlueFin all the time and it was always so flavorful and delicious. I recently had it again for the first time in years and was utterly disappointed. The tofu had no flavor and wasn?t even cooked. They just chopped it up and poured a little sauce over it and dumped it on some plain white rice which also had no flavor. They used to fry the tofu and it had wonderful texture and flavor. Really disappointed it?s not as good as I remember. Don?t think I will be going back anytime soon unfortunately

Great food and at a great price! I eat here regularly; I love the pork katsu plate, panko crusted anything (especially the fish), cucumber side salad, wakame side salad, ginger salad dressing, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken, salmon plate, and so much more. Every time I need to feed an office of 50 with less than ideal, Blue Fin has had my back. I commend the friendly staff with a high tolerance for unpleasant customers. The owner is a cool highly-intelligent chick who loves and gives back to the community on the regular.

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
