"Lunch is definitely the better option here. The crab cakes at dinner taste like they are either pre-made or frozen, and honestly, they were quite disappointing. However, the crab cakes served at lunch are fresh and taste much better. Unfortunately, my dinner order came out cold not once, but twice. The grits were good, but the salmon was a bit dry. The firecracker shrimp were just okay. I probably won’t be back for dinner any time soon, and if I do come back, it will only be for lunch. The dinner service was not great either. Overall, if you're considering visiting, I would recommend sticking to lunch. Those crab cakes really were terrible!"

I had the shrimp and grits, and they were full of flavor with a generous portion size. The she-crab soup was fantastic. The atmosphere was delightful, and the holiday decorations were beautifully done.

After driving for hours through rain and dark back roads, the warm atmosphere in the Blue Marlin was a welcomed experience. With its white linen table cloths, delightful and attentive staff, and wonderful food, we very much recommend dining here! The crab cakes were delicious, as was the scallop special! View menu

We ordered the salmon salad and two. Salmon entrees the salmon pieces were cut funny not only that they wasn't cooked properly they were white it wasn't even a nice pink medium salmon the collard greens was gritty meaning that they are still dirty and the price was not worth those entrees you supposed to be good and seafood it was terrible.

I came across a great restaurant near USC in Columbia, SC. They offer a good variety of seafood, as you'd expect, but there are also plenty of options for those who don’t prefer seafood. I tried the Mahi Orleans, which featured grilled Mahi topped with crab and shrimp, paired with mashed potatoes and sautéed green beans. The green beans were perfectly crisp, and the Mahi was delicious. The atmosphere was pleasant, and our server was attentive. Sharing a nice bottle of cabernet with friends made for a wonderful dining experience. You can expect to spend around $40 per person, including the wine.
