"We visited for a late lunch with our toddler and were impressed by the service right from the moment we entered. They added thoughtful touches, like bringing my toddler some goldfish crackers while he waited for his meal. The server was incredibly friendly and patient with our child, which is refreshing, as dining out with a little one can sometimes make us feel like a burden. The food was fantastic too, featuring unique sushi rolls we hadn’t encountered elsewhere. We will definitely be returning!"

I order the crunchy blue, miso soup and edamame. Food quality varies at every visit but overall good and nice to go with friends. View menu

First time eating there, loved the sushi and salad. Made in time for happy hour so we were able to sample multiple menu items. Service was amazing!

I really enjoy Blue Sushi Sake Grill, but I have a couple of issues. The noise level can be quite high due to poor acoustics, making it difficult to hear those at your table. Additionally, the menu's subheading descriptions are printed in such small text that it's challenging to read, especially in low light. View menu

Our food server was exceptional. She was friendly, answered our questions, and was very attentive. We tried 5 different items plus dessert. Everything was so very good. The coconut soup was wonderful. One suggestion: the ladies room door pressure was set too high. I use a wheelchair and it was very difficult to open going in and out.

Our waitress was very nice, but it took 2.5 hours from the time we sat down until we left. We went for a birthday celebration and it took at least 1.5 hours for our sushi to come out, and when it did it was the wrong order, so we had to wait an additional 30-45 minutes for our food. The drinks were good and the seating was comfortable and the sushi was also good, it just took forever!

"My son was in from California so we wanted to take him to Tony’s. We have been before and think highly of the restaurant. Positives: Calamari, wedge, steaks and pasta were very good.Positives: My mother who is very picky loved her steak although she did send it back because it was not hot when it came to the table. She still raved about it even after that. That is really something.Negatives: Lobster tail was so over cooked it came out all curled up. It took me a minute to even figure it out. I sent it back. They asked if I wanted another one. I said “no”. I was getting full anyway so no reason to add another to the bill since they obviously do not know how to cook it. Suggestion if you don’t know how to cook it then take it off of the menuNegative: Preoccupied waiter. I would have gotten a glass of wine with dinner. Waiter never asked. I have been to Tony’s before and have had very attentive waiters. Not this time.Negative: Not Tony’s fault but a large table by us were drunk and very loud. Negative: I have no desire to come back. Their steaks are very good but if you can’t cook a lobster tail it puts Tony’s as a great steakhouse in Indy at the bottom of the list. Their credibility is gone to me. Suggestion: Bringing a nice piece of desert to the table on the house would have been a nice gesture and then I may have wanted to come back. They had a full house so a party of was probably not a priority"

"Inside, you’ll find seating at tables and the bar, along with a pleasant patio area that overlooks the sidewalk. They also have a self-serve water station in the front. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. I chose to sit at the bar, and it appeared to have not been wiped down all day. The floor was quite dirty as well. The staff did what was necessary, but seemed to lack enthusiasm. You can customize your own bowl or select one of their signature options. Feeling adventurous, I decided to create my own bowl. Regardless of your choice, you start with a base. I opted for traditional sushi rice over brown rice and spring mix salad. Next, I had to select a protein. The size of your bowl determines how many scoops you receive. The regular size allows for two scoops, so I chose one scoop of spicy tuna and one of marinated salmon, although options like octopus, tofu, and shrimp are also available. After that, you can add various toppings and sauces. I have to admit, my bowl was quite tasty and packed with protein. The atmosphere was relaxed, with music playing softly in the background. Unlike the other location I've visited, this one doesn't offer shaved ice, just poke. Overall, I found this place to be just average compared to other locations I've tried, which is why I’m giving it a 3-star rating. The poke was decent, but everything else felt pretty standard at best."
