" Bobbie’s Dairy Dip has been a Nashville institution since and maintains a lot of the charm with dancing ice cream cones painted on the wall and lots of delicious milk shakes with names like the Chubby Checker. However, the menu has been updated to include two veggie burger options. Get people who give a damn.. Good ice cream but they lost my business last week. Common courtesy would be nice. My wife waited at the window for 10 minutes and wasn't acknowledged by anyone on staff. I'll get gelato instead. View menu

prepare to be disappointed. eating and freezing are great, but the service and the setting of staff and management is terrible. I live in the sylvan park and loved walking there. but since nostalgia can no longer overcome the terrible experience. a lot on your own.

Don't come expecting fine dining This is an old fashion southern ice cream place( I just can't come up with a better description except drive in). If you grew up in the south there was a place like this somewhere in town. There's just seething about walking up to a window an ordering a banana boat then sitting under the awning that bring back memories. And it doesn't hurt that the ice cream is good and cold and blues is playing.

Visit practically every time we go to Vanderbilt. First, the fries are great. They just have a good taste. Better than Five Guys and Pharmacy. The burgers are ridiculous. I get the Guacamole Burger and it just taste great. Spicy and always fresh. To top it off the James Brown shake or twist soft serve. Thick and perfect to finish things off. Only thing I could say is to tidy up outside. Don't change, just clean. Worth the trip every time. View menu

I look for reasons to get to that part of town. The Loretta Lynn butter pecan milk shake is everything a milk shake should be. Make sure to ask for a spoon. The burgers, while a little over cooked are very tasty, generous, and well appointed. They have a changing selection of cone dips. Fries are first rate. My only gripe is that it wouldn't hurt to take a pressure washer to the floor and walls every once in a while. This isn't Antiques Road Show and the patina doesn't add value to the experience.
