"The service was so fast for both dinner and lunch (I went two days in a row cause I had never been and it was that good) The food is fantastic and taste completely homemade it's fresh, hot and taste delicious . I've lived in Clairemont for over 10 years and I wish I had known about this place sooner! Everything I had was good the veggie samosas, the chili garlic naan bread, chicken tikka masala, and chicken curry all fantastic! I will be coming here regularly. The vibe was also amazing. I wouldn't expect nice silverware and cozy tables and chairs at the Square. This place is a hidden gem such a pleasant surprise. Obviously my server was fantastic for bother dinner and lunch. If I ever end up married, I think I'd have this place cater my wedding."

This restaurant lacks authenticity. The flavors are not bad, but there is a noticeable Mexican influence. The naan is actually pizza dough. If you're looking for authentic cuisine, I recommend trying somewhere else. The staff were friendly and willing to explain the lunch menu. The prices are a bit high for the quality, but still manageable.

Delicious food, excellent service, and beautiful decor! The food was perfectly spiced and of high quality. The waitress went out of her way to fulfill our requests and was attentive and helpful. Awesome lunch specials, a lot of flavor bombs for your taste buds! You get to choose 3 items from a pretty good sized list of meat or veggie dishes, comes with super light fluffy Naan bread, a small side salad next to a plate of jasmine rice. You really can't pick a bad dish here, they're all good!The small bowls hold a deceiving amount of food, great to pick a bunch of different dishes and share!

I really enjoyed the food. We ordered a 3 entry combo and special lamb. The portions are large so we automatically get our lunch for the next day. Highly recommend the lamb and chicken. The lamb is soft and the yellow curry chicken has a great coconut flavor. I was here a few years ago, and they refreshed my impression of bombay coast as they did better than the bombay coast at UCSD (now closed). It's great that the food quality is still high after many years.

Service was outstanding. He was so attentive to our needs and was wearing several hats . He was the host, cashier, server and busser! I don 't know if he was the cook, too since we sat outside. Food: we ordered the 3 plate combo which was great for my husband and I. It came with rice and regular naan. We got mango chicken, yellow curry and yikes I forgot what the 3rd dish was. Oh and a side of garlic naan. These combo plates are the best way to get a sampling of several dishes when you are like us and can 't make up your mind!
