"Easy to drive by this place if a local hadn't turned me onto it. It's on the side of the road and isn't much to look at but has some killer grub. We got the pimento cheese and brisket po boy and the Buffalo cauliflower po boy with a side of the Brussel sprouts and the meat pie. (All pictured except the meat pie) and there wasn't a bad one in the bunch. the brisket was smoked and the pimento cheese gave it a rich and savory flavor. the Buffalo cauliflower is not normally something I'd seek out on a po boy especially in NOLA but I'm glad I did as it had the right amount of kick. the Brussel sprouts were something else all together, they had a crisp roasted flavor but a sweet and tangy sauce and a generous helping of some think junks of bacon. If there was ever a way to make Brussel sprouts taste better than other things on the menu this is the way to do it. They also had an interesting selection of local beers that I haven't found elsewhere. Relatively moderate prices and out door seating was a plus. Atmosphere is pretty no frills but I'll take great food over fine dining any day.. I'd eat here again in a second."
