"Staff was awesome. Beer was cold. Plenty of menu options. Ordered the cheese steak egg rolls which were over fried dark and hard, but tasty. Loved the dipping sauce that came with. Shepard's pie seemed to be heavy in clove and made in vegetable soup with instant potatoes baked on top. Waitress was really cool. Waitress obviously noticed we didn't eat it. The manager kindly took it off the bill without us even complaining (which wouldn't). I had the Cajun potatoes pan cake. The shrimp was cooked perfect and flavor was on point. Beer and water glass never emptied. Great staff."

"My husband and I are regular customers at this restaurant, but our experience today was disappointing. I brought a few guests with me—my mother, sister, and son—because we always enjoy the excellent service and food here. However, we ended up sitting for two and a half hours without receiving our meals. When we asked our waiter about the delay, he apologized but couldn't provide us with an estimated wait time. Meanwhile, we noticed that personal friends of the owner were being served promptly, receiving menus, placing their orders, and enjoying their meals and drinks within an hour, while we continued to wait. Even though the owner was present, she never came over to apologize or check on us, which made the situation even more frustrating. After waiting for over two hours, we decided to leave without eating. It's disheartening to feel this way, especially as regular customers who have always supported this restaurant. If this is how they conduct their business now, it raises concerns about their future. It's truly disappointing, especially when you try to support a business owned by people of color and receive such treatment."

"I came to the restaurant on Sunday, May 22nd and ordered garlic parmesan wings, but received plain wings instead. The appetizer came out after I had already finished eating. The käsesteak had sticky fat in the broth and fatty pieces of "meat" in it. There were strips of sticky fat on my fingers and plate. The waitress laughed and said she didn't actually work there. Overall, it was a pretty terrible experience and a waste of money."

"Took forever for the food to come out . I called an hour ago and it?s still not done yet . When i arrived i was told my order still wasn?t started Then when you sit outside waiting for the food to be done it took forever for staff to check on the waiting customers , multiple people were complaining outside I?m sure the food will be decent but just off the wait , never again .You order food to save time not to wait longer then if you cooked it yourself"

"I am extremely impressed with the food I have received from this restaurant. While the prices are a bit high, the quality of the food is consistently excellent. I particularly enjoy their pasta dishes, whether with red sauce or creamy sauce, the taste is always perfect and fresh. Their portion sizes are generous, and I can get at least 3 meals out of one pasta dinner, which helps offset the cost. I have been a patron of this restaurant since I was a child and even worked for the company for a period of time. I was one of the employees who helped train staff when the Smyrna location was first opened. Despite some negative reviews, I know firsthand how committed this company is to providing fresh, carefully prepared food for its customers. I just had another delicious pasta dish and felt it was time to express my gratitude for consistently great meals."
