"It’s been a while since I eat here. We were in town and saw the shuck a buck happy hours. I understood that it is happy hours but overall foods were just ok. I remembered in the past the foods were great. Oysters were rather small but again it was $1 oyster, so we were ok w it. Fried calamari was oily and not crispy. Our server recommended lobster wonton and sushi. Sushi rice was kind of hard and no flavor/ lobster wonton was just meh and not crispy. I think the oil needs to be replaced. Mussels have a lot of sands and gritty, flavor on the sweeter side instead savory. It could be just happy hours thing. Will try again next time."

"First off, fantastic service and atmosphere. The staff here were extremely attentive and pleasant. My wife and I had the mussels and oyster as an app. Oysters were on point and the vinaigrette they offer is absolutely delicious. Mussels: the broth was absolutely delicious but the mussels were overcooked, would suggest the chefs open up the mussels in a pan with the broth instead of stewing them. My wife’s bolognese was as traditional and delicious as it gets, straight from Nonna’s kitchen! I was in deep regret after tasting that when I was enjoying my entree. I ordered the CAPESANTE ALLA GIOVANNI and was a bit disappointed. The dish was deconstructed (not sure if that’s the right description see photo) which wasn’t what I had expected and the skillet with the crab, scallops, and cheese didn’t really have much flavor and I didn’t taste any of the flavors of the sauce that was supposed to be in there. Quality was great but it’s my own fault for not ordering a classic dish as I intended. Overall we were happy with our dining experience and will be back!"

"Veal cop was delicious. Smaller portion then last time. Service was just ok. I ordered the salted caramel martini and it was served without the salt and caramel.. sent it back and they brought it back with a very pathetic caramel rim. I expected more. Again, the veal chop was delicious and we will be back for that.."

"Without a doubt, this is a wonderful place. It's not just because the owner is Carol; it's also because I met her sister there. She is truly the most extraordinary woman I've ever encountered. If she didn't already have a boyfriend, I believe she could have touched my heart with her beauty. Her outer beauty is striking, but it's her inner beauty that truly captivates. It was a remarkable experience to feel such a special connection with her, even though it was hard to accept that I could never have her love. There aren't many women like her, but she taught me an important lesson: happiness is a choice. Each of us can decide to cultivate a rich, fulfilling spirit and embrace happiness, or choose to dwell in unhappiness. "We absolutely adore this restaurant. The service is always top-notch. I have a severe case of Celiac disease, but the staff at this restaurant are always very accommodating with most of the menu items and all of the drinks I have ordered. Tyler is extremely knowledgeable about food allergies, and he and the rest of the staff take all allergies very seriously. Thank you for always providing consistently amazing food, exceptional service, and a fantastic atmosphere. Even though we are new to Rhode Island, Cassarino's feels like our regular spot back in Hershey, PA where we even got engaged. We can't wait to bring our family and friends from PA here. A big thank you to all the staff who always ensure we have a great experience, every time."
