"We visited this Buddy’s the afternoon of Saturday 10/14. The person taking our order wasn’t super friendly, but no big deal. I ordered a sandwich with no sauce. When I came to counter to collect our order, I saw sauce on the sandwich. The same person that took my order was standing nearby. I politely told them that I asked for no sauce and I’d really prefer a sandwich that way. They looked at the receipt (which showed sandwich with no sauce), then kind of stood there until another employee walked past them, turned around and said something to the other employee who then laughed, and the person that took my order walked off toward the kitchen. Never spoke to anyone in the kitchen to ask them to make a new sandwich or apologize for the error. I waited about 30 seconds after this interaction and they never said a word to me, so I told them I’d just eat it and took my tray. I figured better to have sauce than someone spit on my food or worse. My chicken was in two huge chunks and it was really dry (despite having sauce on it) and the fries were definitely not fresh. My husband’s Smokey dog was fine. We usually eat at a different Buddy’s but were on this side of town that day. We won’t be back."

We were stopping to get gas and the smell coming from here was so amazing that we had to try it!!! $6.49 for a meal this good is hard to come by AND they sell my favorite frozen yogurt TCBY!!

A BBQ joint connected to a gas station doesn't always seem promising, but this is a not so hidden gem right off of I-75. The food was really good. We got a #1 and #3 with fries and a side of coleslaw. It was all fresh and tasty. I recommend mixing the hot and mild sauce. The restaurant was clean, and the manager, Doug, was friendly and helpful! We'll stop again during our travels.
