"Place was attractive especially the patio but I got food to go. Service was decent but didn't like standing there without being acknowledged for like eight minutes on my birthday with diabetes. The burgers were good/fair. The concretes thing...the dessert were above average tasty but too small IMHO. The fries were subpar...too crispy kinda cold ... Five Guys is MUCH better. I give Burger Fi 3 a half stars. Need to upgrade their fries : get better quality hamburger meat. Thank you."

Food was delicious. Price was kind of high but once in a while isn't bad. Place was clean. Good parking. Kind of reminds me of Five guys but a less greasy version

The staff is very friendly and offers good service, but the music was excessively loud, making it difficult for them to hear our food order, which led to some mistakes. View menu

Tried their regular double patty cheese burger with my wife on Nat. Cheese burger day. Very good quality beef.,however onion rings very greasy and way too thick, not good.

We went for their burger deal on national cheese burger day. It was a great deal. Unfortunately the burger was not as good as I had hoped for. Maybe if the burger was less well done and seasoned? But yet again they were preparing for a busy day. It looked nice and they had the nice soda machine. I got there around 4pm before the dinner rush and the floors were sticky all over. I like other burger areas in the better.

what to say about this restaurant?? well to start you ate greeted by the low lighting and rustic feeling of place, the food is absolutely delicious, they offer many options a little something for everyone. i enjoyed the onion rings very big and crisp and the ceo is delicious fries were nice hot and crisp and not to salty and the girls at the counter have a very positive attitude and smiles throughtout the interaction. I usually like this place, but the menu change was not good..flashing screens make it hard to read food options. I ordered a bacon burger. The bacon was cold...just came out of the refrigerator. Asked for a lettuce wrap .instead of fresh lettuce, lettuce covered in grease and pieces of lettuce. Onions rings were deep fried to the point of burnt crispiness..not tasty. I don't think I will return, which is unfortunate as I referred people to the place.

While the portion sizes could have been a little better and the price of the meal could have been a bit less expensive, for example a fountain soda costing over three dollars, I must say the burger itself was very tasty. It was also very juicy. I had their ultimate bacon cheeseburger and there was definitely a generous amount of bacon on the sandwich, so overall aside from the aforementioned considerations it was a pretty good place to have dinner at.

"Spaghetti doesn 't get the top billing of very many restaurants these days. The only reason it does at Joe 's is because the place has been around for such a long time, they wouldn 't dream of changing the sign. I suppose I should come back and at least give the spaghetti a try. But that would be a hard sell with such solid versions of tavern classics. For me, the four stars here really represent a meal that was better than one might expect. And there 's probably no better place to start than with the pizza. That crust was serious business. It 's not a tavern style pizza shell of oily dough pressed into a pan. This is a crisp on the bottom, yeasted dough, that has picked up some good color from the oven floor. It 's completely remarkable given the setting. The mozzarella and melba were fine. Clearly in the top half of the category, but not quite at the level of cracking into the upper echelon (currently occupied by Ralph 's, Scubbers, and TJ 's). Joe 's melba was more than just syrup, but could could use some of the brightness of the berries. Wings here are totally solid. It 's kind of a misnomer to say they are pan fried in olive oil since I got a look at exactly how deep that pan actually is. The wings get a nice bath in the stuff, which is really the only way they can get nice and crispy all the way around. And inhaling that classic Frank 's and butter aroma, makes the mustiness of the dining room fade away. I actually think the smell had something to do with the cleaning products used and not food smells or moisture. But it 's hard to say. This was actually my first taste of Utica greens ever, so I don 't really have much with which to compare the experience. But I was a big fan. A bit of heat, and some tasty chunks of cured meat, tossed into a whole heap of savory, tender greens felt both virtuous and decadent. Clearly one of the drawbacks of tavern dining is the lack of vegetables, and I appreciated this as a way to get a bit of variety into the diet without venturing into salad territory. Most salads in the region, for most of the year, are a crime. But that 's another issue entirely. I 'm thrilled to have found this place. It 's an undiscovered gem in Cohoes. And it clearly deserves a place in the parthenon of the region 's great taverns. I hope it stays open forever, and that those who go there all the time realize just how special it is."
