"Caffe Sapore is a favorite of mine. Always an airy, warm, welcoming spot to grab a coffee, a beer, a glass of wine and amazing pastries and sandwiches. A must visit before heading out for a walk to Crissy Field and a great rest spot to sip a glass of something after a day of exploring the glorious city that is San Francisco. Mellow spot in North Beach to enjoy coffee, sando, beer. Great outside seating in the sun for people watching/relaxing. This is my neighborhood go-to, particularly the salmon bagel and pie.

Five stars aren 't enough for the Caffe. Elias and team are the nicest, friendliest folks in the city, and every visit to their home is a privilege. It 's the 'Cheers ' of San Francisco, where everybody really does know your name, and you are always welcome to visit. Great food too!

This cafe is the best in North Beach. It's discreet and has an area to sit outside and take some sun. The food and coffee is fantastic ... I always tell people about their pies... Crazy delicious with a crust that continues for days. Friendly staff and awesome proprietor. I love it here!
