"if I could give zero stars, I would. we had the worse culinary experience here on Friday night with an early reservation of around 17 o'clock. there was only one other table. our waiter, who was obviously not well trained, let us know that the specials of the tag menu was not yet available. we ordered the Bruschetta app to share an salat and their polenta chicken Ragu bowl. the restaurant began to drive and our waiter disappeared. after 25 minutes and without appetizer or salad and recognizing that other served food, I went to ask for the front. within 5 minutes we received the bruschetta, but not from our server. it was dry, no olive oil, and the broth was not roasted. I had to go forward again to ask for more time and without eating the rest of our order. it was a frdiay evening and the restaurant was then full. the polenta ragu came, but was with a white sauce and not with a ragu. I asked the waiter what happened and was said that the chef prepared it differently today. it wasn't good. the polnta was granular and gummy the soße had a good taste, but not good with the polnta. the shredded huh was close. salat? yes had to get up and ask again. a painful 75 minutes! that seemed a whole mess. manager, cooking and waiter problems lead to my never returning."

I've visited this restaurant twice for family gatherings, and both times have been fantastic with delicious food. I lost an earring there, which might seem like just a small gold hoop, but it was actually the first gift my boyfriend gave me 14 years ago. The staff went out of their way to help me find it while they were cleaning, and I can't thank them enough for their kindness!

Love this Restaurant, however, they need more help. It appeared our Waitress was responsible for the entire Restaurant, inside and outside tables. Needless to say there were long delays between serving of food courses. This was on a Mondy evening and the Restaurant was busy. Our food was excellent, wine excellent and dessert was delicious. Happy Hour is from 4:00-6:00pm. We were seated at 5:15pm, however, we had to find a person to take our drink and appetizer order, it was 5:44pm and no one had yet been to our table to take an order.

Poor Service Good Food We had a party of 9 people on Friday evening when music was playing. We were seated indoors. It took three hours for us to complete our meal. Luckily we were not in a huge hurry but we needed to keep getting up to find the waitress to ask her to take our orders, get extra stuff, give us our check, etc... I don't think I should have to chase down the wait staff. That being said, it was probably really busy with the music group playing outside and the food was really good. They probably need to add more wait staff on the weekends. View menu

My husband and I have been searching for our favorite local, privately-owned Italian restaurant, and we believe we've found it at Canta Napoli in Mt. Prospect, IL. I ordered a spinach sausage pizza that was absolutely delicious, while my husband enjoyed shells with peas, mushrooms, and Italian sausage in a light lemon cream sauce—simply to die for! Everything is freshly made; you can really tell when you're at a busy restaurant that doesn’t cut corners or rely on microwaved pasta. You won’t find that here! Our server, Ashley, who was fantastic, even mentioned that they don’t own a microwave! We can’t wait to return!

We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The waiter brought our check before the entrees were even served, which was surprising given that the restaurant was nearly empty on a Saturday night and we had already waited over 45 minutes. The waitress seemed unaware that our appetizer had never arrived, and she didn’t even check in on us during our wait. Although we were offered a complimentary dessert due to the mix-up, the tiramisu we received was completely frozen. The pasta dishes were served with a sauce that was overly bland, and the calamari appetizer tasted previously frozen and lacked freshness. On a positive note, the cocktails were enjoyable, but the waiter definitely need...

"Absolutely fabulous, I 'm SO looking forward to coming back. The restaurant is small, so luckily they weren 't super busy when we walked in. We got greeted and seated right away. I had green tea to drink, and started with miso soup, gyoza, and the coconut shrimp. The miso was very simple--not even sure if there was tofu in it or I just didn 't get any. But good flavor none the less. The gyoza wrapping is definitely made in house. The sauce that comes with it is great, and the order comes with 5. The coconut shrimp though--that 's where it 's at. I 'm not sure exactly what sauce they put on it but I loved it as did my boyfriend. Some of the shrimp have the tail already cut off which I appreciate. For sushi we couldn 't make up our minds as they have so many good sounding options. We limited ourselves to four rolls though. My pick was the butterfly madam as I 've been super into lobster and crab lately--this is the one on the very left of the photo. Lots of good flavor, just hard to eat a piece in one bite, so if you 're going on a first date, stay away lol Next is the Godzilla roll which is always a safe bet. It was creamy and good. The toro blue fin was my boyfriends choice, and the mango is extremely fresh, the truffle oil is a unique factor I 've never had on sushi before but definitely want again. I 'm not super big on tuna but I could handle this roll. The last one (very right) is my personal favorite--the crunchy melt. I could eat this every day. I 've had mozzarella cheese melted on sushi before and it 's one of my favorite things, but can 't find everywhere. This place does it the best. If you check in on Yelp, you also get free ice cream! We were too full to do that, but maybe next time when we come back we can try to save some room."

"If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would! My husband is a vegetarian, and I have strict medical instructions to reduce my sugar and simple starch intake. Bistro Chen offers a fantastic variety of tofu dishes, and they even provide brown rice upon request for their sushi items. Their Dim Sum is the best in the suburbs! We especially love their Chinese broccoli, which can be steamed or stir-fried based on your preference. It is always incredibly fresh and cooked to perfection. The stir-fried baby bok choy is also highly recommended. If you're in the know, make sure to try the Ong Choy when it’s available. This water hyacinth might sound exotic, but there’s no need to be intimidated. Its flavor is a delightful blend between kale and spinach, and it's simply stir-fried with a hint of garlic for the perfect taste. Another must-try vegetable is the Sichuan green beans. The chef skillfully incorporates Sichuan peppercorns along with red chilies, garlic, and other ingredients, creating a depth of flavor that enhances the crisp-tender string beans. We’ve become so addicted to them that we order this dish every time we visit. Additionally, their sushi is incredibly fresh, generously portioned, and perfectly balanced between rice and fish. Their sushi rolls are creative, fun, and above all, DELICIOUS! The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, always happy to answer any questions we have about the availability of certain dishes. We can’t wait to return!"
