"Ya know, you guys don?t need to put cheese on everything to make it taste good. Settle down with that. They ripped us off by not telling us the margarita pitchers were 45 dollars a piece. They have no problem delivering these to the table but we couldn?t get the waiters attention to save our lives to bring more chips or anything else. Take your hat off so you can see us trying to flag you down. Just please check up on your table more than once per hour. Anyway great food (lotsa cheese tho, too much), awesome tequila and cocktails. Bes queso I eber had. Great options, all around. And they?re a good value. Chips and salsa come with meals is deese. I recommend asking for spicy salsa."

This place is excellent for Tex-Mex lovers. I make sure to visit every time I'm on vacation. I personally opted for the tacos, and they were fantastic!

It was Mexican cuisine, but unfortunately, it was lacking in flavor. I tried five different dishes from the menu, and none of them were to my liking. I would recommend skipping this restaurant. The only positive aspect was that the... View menu

Wow. This place blew me away. Much better than I thought it would be...everything was fresh and tasty and made to order. Delicious food and generous portions. Free chips and salsa to start out and a big menu with many options. Excellent margaritas, too! We will be back!

There is a great variety of traditional Mexican restaurants and seafood specialties available. The tacos, whether soft or hard, are delicious, and the beans are especially noteworthy. Don’t miss the Scorpion's hot sauce for an extra kick! The margaritas at BOOT are excellent as well!

A lovely spot that I’ve visited several times. I typically sit at the bar, and the service is always top-notch. Kim and Jack are consistently friendly and dedicated to their work. They’re great at recommending both food and drink specialties. The atmosphere has a cozy neighborhood bar vibe, but the food is exceptional. Don't forget to try the spicy salsa! View menu

This restaurant offers a fantastic variety of traditional Mexican dishes and seafood specialties. You can choose from soft or hard tacos, and the beans are delicious. They also have an incredibly spicy scorpion hot sauce. The margaritas are exceptional! The service is excellent, and since it’s family-owned, there’s a warm atmosphere. You can enjoy dining on the lovely patio by the ocean, and indoor seating is also available.

The service was outstanding, with the waitress checking in on us several times and being incredibly friendly! It's important to remember that it's "California Mexican Food," so don't expect authenticity. The portions are generous, but be prepared for cheese on virtually everything. The rice bowl was decent—with a lot of cheese on top—but the rice itself lacked flavor. It came with a whole avocado, black beans, and just a few thin pieces of lettuce at the bottom. If you're looking to put on some weight, this is definitely the spot for you!

"I was having an early Mothers Day dinner with my son (he lives out of town), and I was looking online for a seafood restaurant. I came to Coastal Crab Company’s website and the description and pictures of the food looked so inviting, I wanted to give it a try. However, when we were on our way, my son saw that they were close to closing time at 7 PM. This was a little bit after 6PM. I called and the gentleman I spoke to said that we could order takeout. We really wanted to have a sit down meal so we scrapped that and decided to go to another popular local restaurant down by the river. When we got there, they were completely full and it was an hour wait time. At that point my son said that we can just do takeout and go home and eat. So, I called back Coastal Crab Company and I spoke to young woman who was so friendly. I thought we only had 20 minutes to closing , so she said how far are you? I said we are 20 minutes away and she said to come on. When we got there, we weren’t quite sure of what we wanted to eat. Anyway, we parked and went in. We met this lovely young woman. Her name was Nya? I believe. She was awesome. She took our order and we decided to wait outside in the car. Her customer service was impeccable. She explained what was on the menu and she told us, and practically insured that we would love the food. Let me tell you it is some of the best seafood that I’ve had in a long time. It was fresh and well seasoned, and you can tell that they put love into each and everything that they cooked. I had the seafood platter, with grouper and shrimp with the seafood rice in a creole sauce. It was to die for. We also had the seafood stew and the seafood gumbo. Both were excellent. They have my vote! I believe that their food is not only excellent, but the customer service is impeccable. I would go back again and again, thank you for making my early Mother’s Day with my son! I will see you for my birthday and I will tell all of my family and friends. Thank you Coastal Crab Company!"

"I think I finally figured out how to use my random name generator, especially after my previous letdowns with Italian restaurants run by actual Italians. The secret? Simply type “Cuban food,” and just like that, the name Cuban Island Restaurant appeared. Checking my GPS confirmed this would be an easy choice, as I didn't have to venture to the mainland. In fact, it was a quick trip, and I arrived in no time. Once seated, my excellent server, Normat, greeted me. Normat exemplifies what every server should be—helpful and friendly. After discussing the menu, I decided to order Carnitas, the Churrasco with chimichurri, and a Cuban Sandwich. I took a few photos of the cozy atmosphere while waiting for Normat's return. Before long, my food arrived, and an inviting wave of Cuban aromas filled the air. I couldn’t wait to dig in as soon as Normat cleared the table. I started with the Carnitas, which I absolutely love, and I have to say, these were among the best I've ever tasted. They were incredibly tender and bursting with flavor, providing a delightful mix of island spices in every bite. Next up was the Churrasco with chimichurri, and once again, I was treated to an explosion of Caribbean flavors that was simply incredible. I could write pages about the complexity of the spices and how they all complemented each other, but honestly, you should just stop reading and go there yourself! Finally, I tried their version of the famous Cuban sandwich. The picture doesn’t do it justice—thinly sliced ham and roasted pork, layered with melted Swiss, pickles, and mustard, then pressed and toasted to a perfect golden brown. It tasted as amazing as it looked, putting me in foodie heaven! Cuban Island Restaurant undoubtedly serves some of the best Cuban food in Brevard County, and to add a fun twist, the owner is Italian. I love that! So if you want the best Cuban food, this is the place to go: Cuban Island!"
