"Service was awful. Took 15 minutes before anyone took drink order. People who arrived after us got and ate their food before ours was dlvd. I asked our hostess and she said they were just busy. Meanwhile we have a 1 year old and an 88 year old....read the room please. I have never not left a tip but tonight I did not leave one. Food was great but need to train your wait staff. When we do go back I will be sure not to sit in a certain wait staffs area."

"Always in search of good mexican food, I read other reviews about this restaurant and couldn’t wait to try it. The ambiance and decor was nice, comfortable and clean. It was loud although only one table was occupied, they have a t.v. on that was turned on so loud that my husband and I could not hear one another very well. The waitress was barely audible and shy, and could not offer any help or suggestions or recommendations. The food was completely disappointing. I live for taco’s, and I could not get past the first bite of my taco. I love both hard and soft shell, and always on the quest of a good hard shell taco (that won’t break my teeth). The shell was ridiculously unpenetratable. The meat (carne asada) was so dry the texture reminded me of beef jerky. My cheese enchilada was so-so, but the ranchera sauce seemed canned, nothing special. My husband said is soft carne asada taco was equally horrible."

"I walked in feeling hungry and ready for a refreshing drink after my kids’ tournament nearby. The warm welcome I received upon entering immediately gave me a great first impression. I was soon struck by the enthusiastic crew in the front corner, who were clearly encouraged by the well-coordinated staff to maintain a cool vibe while also feeling free to enjoy themselves. It’s not an easy balance in the restaurant business. Then, I was surrounded by multiple friendly team members ready to take my order and help satisfy my cravings for food and drinks—which I hadn’t even realized I wanted when I walked in. They even prepared a custom table-side sauce that elevated my already amazing Philly sandwich (I won't spoil the surprise by revealing what was in the secret sauce; you'll have to visit yourself and find out!). In summary, I’ll definitely be coming back and spreading the word about this wonderful spot. This might be my first and last Yelp review, but it’s certainly a memorable one!"

"Who would have thought we would discover amazing Cajun food in Santa Paula, CA? The chicory latte was delightful—made with chicory coffee, brown sugar syrup, and milk. My daughter ordered the Croque-Monsieur, which was an open-faced ham and cheese sandwich, accompanied by a cup of delicious seafood chowder. I enjoyed a cup of shrimp and grits alongside a garden salad. The salad, although small, was a generous portion, and the balsamic dressing was perfect. I absolutely loved the shrimp and grits, which featured savory bacon, spinach, and onions sautéed with the shrimp, all served over creamy grits. I could have easily eaten a whole bowl, but I wanted to save room for the decadent beignets for dessert. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent; our table was wobbly, but they addressed it promptly. Our server was attentive and timely. We chose to sit outside, which added to our enjoyable experience. Afterward, we went shopping and found some lovely boutiques and thrift shops on Main Street with fantastic treasures."

"My favorite dish is the tri-tip, chicken, and hot link bowl! The staff here is friendly and welcoming, and the service is consistently excellent. The food is incredibly flavorful and tender! The portions are just right, and their BBQ sauce is my absolute favorite; I sometimes drop by just to get some sauce! If you're in Santa Paula, make sure to stop here for a meal. Even if you're not nearby, it's worth the trip. And be sure to save room for dessert—their cheesecake is perfection!"
