"Who would have thought we would discover amazing Cajun food in Santa Paula, CA? The chicory latte was delightful—made with chicory coffee, brown sugar syrup, and milk. My daughter ordered the Croque-Monsieur, which was an open-faced ham and cheese sandwich, accompanied by a cup of delicious seafood chowder. I enjoyed a cup of shrimp and grits alongside a garden salad. The salad, although small, was a generous portion, and the balsamic dressing was perfect. I absolutely loved the shrimp and grits, which featured savory bacon, spinach, and onions sautéed with the shrimp, all served over creamy grits. I could have easily eaten a whole bowl, but I wanted to save room for the decadent beignets for dessert. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience. The service was excellent; our table was wobbly, but they addressed it promptly. Our server was attentive and timely. We chose to sit outside, which added to our enjoyable experience. Afterward, we went shopping and found some lovely boutiques and thrift shops on Main Street with fantastic treasures."

Beautiful and clean bistro. Warm atmosphere. Kind and attentive servers. A perfect place to catch up with a friend. I had a chocolate peanut butter muffin that was perfectly cooked. It was moist and airy in texture. Not overpowering, but yet decadent in taste. The presentation was beautiful.

The food was fantastic and the service was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant if you find yourself in Santa Paula. I really enjoyed their café au lait, cornbread, and grits. Everyone in our party was enthusiastic about their meals. As someone from New Orleans, it’s a delight to find authentic Southern and Cajun cuisine here in California.

I'm hesitant to write this, if too many people discover this place; it might be crowded when I go again. A hidden gem in downtown Santa Paula. Everything is made from scratch and only when you order it. Want a cup of coffee? They brew One for you. A very tasty selection of breakfast, lunch, dinner and desserts. Cute restaurant and good service here. Very crowded and could be a wait, indoor and outdoor seating available. Most enjoyed all of the bakery items, we ordered a variety and all were delicious. Big servings of food for the plated dishes for good prices. Coffees and chai latte here is just ok, large portions, non dairy milk available. One plate of food we ordered was forgotten about before they closed up so we didn’t get to try the shrimp and grits which was a bummer.

New Orleans creole/cajun vibe and taste, the greeens w blackeyed peas, yes please, may I havr sommore please sir??? So GOOD... the pastries cakes and cookies made with from scratch . Worth it ..... Batista and bartenders..... Bar to sit at... and cocktails, from bloodys to neats....its covered there... GREAT atmosphere and vibes chill... Watch for hours of operation..!!
