"After hearing great reviews, I had high hopes for my lunch at this restaurant. The atmosphere and smells upon entering reminded me of some other amazing places I've dined at in the past. I decided to try the sampler plate with brisket, chicken, and sausage (as they were out of pork), along with coleslaw and mac-n-cheese. The seasoning and smoke flavor were good, but unfortunately the chicken was dry, the brisket was cold and tough with lots of fat, and only the sausage stood out as tasty. The mac-n-cheese had a grainy cheese sauce with no flavor, but the coleslaw was excellent. Hopefully it was just an off day when I visited."

After leaving the Jefferson Swap Meet yesterday, we decided to have an early dinner at Casual Joe's. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was outstanding. We will definitely be stopping by again the next time we are in town.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely amazing! The smash bowls are full of amazing flavors, and anything cooked in the smoker outside is top-notch. The owner may need some help to handle the high demands, but the delicious food is definitely worth any wait. View menu

First time eating here yesterday. I ordered the pork platter and I was told by an employee that I wouldn’t need any sauce cause the meat had great flavor. Well, to my surprise there was no flavor to the pork. It was dry, overcooked, zero flavor, and also the meat was served cold. Not room temperature, cold! The potato salad was decent, as well as the corn bread. My fiancé ordered a pulled pork mashed potato bowl that was overly salted and also served cold. Very unfortunate dining experience and we will not be returning.

"The Hummus Platter was exceptional—without a doubt the best I've ever tasted. Instead of just a small bowl of hummus with a few pita chips, it was a generous plate of hummus served alongside an even larger plate of assorted marinated vegetables for dipping. I was also pleasantly surprised to find Beyond Burgers on the menu! They came topped with lettuce, tomato, and avocado, but sadly there were no condiments like ketchup, mustard, or pickles. The fries were tasty as well. One of our vegetarian friends tried the Margherita Flatbread, which was quite large—definitely meant to be shared by two or more people. He claimed it was incredibly delicious, though it did have cheese on it, so he ended up eating the whole thing himself and didn’t seem to mind at all! I ordered a salad with the best balsamic dressing I've ever had; it wasn't sweet at all, which I really appreciated since I'm not a fan of sweet dressings. The salad was enormous, and I savored every bite. One of our group also got the Brussels sprouts and said they were delightful. The beers were fantastic too, each served in glasses featuring their cool witch logo. One person from our group even left with a t-shirt from the restaurant. The only downside was the tables—there were pipes positioned just right to bang your knees against when you sat down. Our waitress was vegan, which made things easier because she understood our dietary preferences right away. She was attentive and very friendly. We ended up ordering so much food that our bill came to over $100 for the three of us, but it was definitely worth it!"
