"I went to the restaurant with my wife, her parents, and our child. The food was decent, but I felt that the portion sizes didn't match the price. We left feeling still hungry, and when the bill came, it was $79, which seemed quite high for what we ordered. When I pulled out four $20 bills, thinking that would cover the bill, the waitress/cashier must have thought I wasn't leaving a tip (my wife planned to take care of that). After processing the payment, she informed me that there would be a 15% gratuity charge automatically added because we were a group of more than four people. We were just four adults and a child, and we didn't request anything special; we simply ate and left. So, the total ended up being around $93, which surprised me. I was taken aback that she would add that charge after I had already paid. Since I didn’t have enough cash on hand, I had to awkwardly ask my in-laws for an extra $15 just to ensure my wife could leave her tip. I told my wife not to leave the $20 she had planned to leave. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning. Clearly, we weren't the only unhappy customers there! It felt like a very underhanded move."

We stopped here while driving back home to Southeast Texas from Arizona, and the food was fantastic! The brisket was juicy and packed with flavor, and the sausage was equally delicious. The potato salad was also very tasty. Additionally, the customer service was the best we've ever experienced.

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for dinner! The burgers and steak are consistently delicious. The quality of the BBQ can vary, but the ribs are always outstanding. I received excellent service from Jessica and Kiersten, and I can't wait to return for another meal. P.S. It's much better than Mac's!

On our journey home from Arizona to Southeast Texas, we decided to stop here, and the food was fantastic! The brisket was flavorful and juicy, and the sausage had a remarkable taste. The waitress was very nice. There were three of us, and we all ordered sliced brisket and sausage. Unfortunately, two of the brisket plates were so tough and fatty that we couldn't eat them, while one was decent. I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but the brisket was disappointing. The waitress did her best to make it right by taking $2 off each of the bad plates, which meant I ended up paying $14 for 6 pieces of brisket.
