"I stopped by Cambridge pizza with my family of 4 for a quick lunch while visiting MIT. They advertised a family pizza deal for $25.99 on the window via a large poster. When I ordered it, the price came up as $29.99. At first, I was confused and asked for the advertised deal. The person taking my order said, that is the price. It took me a moment to realize that he had rung me up correctly and the price was now more. I said I wanted to pay the advertised price. He said no, they had changed the price months ago and not bothered to correct the sign (which a marker and a piece of tape would have taken care of). When I pressed that I wanted to pay the advertised price, the worker simply walked away from me and went back to working the grill. It was EXTREMELY rude, and I was honestly a bit taken back by it. I expect a little East Coast attitude, but the treatment I received crossed that line. I questioned a second person working there (hoping maybe he was a manager) but received similar treatment. In the end I simply left. I never tasted the food, though the restaurant seemed unkempt and the pizza that they had in the heating cabinet looked very unappetizing. There are many choices for good lunch in this area aside from Cambridge pizza. In my opinion you choose one of them."

Wide selection of a menu that means I don't get bored. Relatively healthy food and late hours keep me coming back.

I’ve seen reviews saying it’s soggy but every time I’ve ordered for delivery it’s crispy. Best pizza around my place.

I was looking forward to a nice pizza dinner, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet my expectations. I ended up with a pizza that had no cheese or sauce. I think a reconsideration of the menu might be in order. Thank you.

Delicious food and friendly staff! The lunch prices in Central are very reasonable. Plus, with their rewards program, you get a free pizza for every fifth one you buy. The atmosphere is fantastic overall. Highly recommend! View menu

Great pizza counter for a quick bite! Menu includes mozzerella sticks, wings, subs, and pizzas for takeout or eat in. There are a few tables inside for dining in as well. Kid-friendliness: Enough space to bring a stroller inside

I had a great experience at Cambridge Pizza! The food was delicious, and the staff was incredibly friendly. From the moment I walked in to check out the menu, I felt like I was among friends, as if I had known the employees for years.

I was disappointed with my experience at Cambridge Pizza. The bottom of my calzone was burnt, and the marinara sauce seemed overly diluted with water. There wasn’t much cheese to speak of either. Overall, the calzone felt more like a tough leftover breadstick. I expected better from their menu. View menu

Cambridge Pizza/Chicago Pizza truly impressed me by delivering two large lunch orders on consecutive days. I had the task of feeding around 25 young people, and one day they requested chicken fingers and fries, while the next day it was pizza. The restaurant staff were helpful and courteous, and the food was outstanding. This place has now become my go-to spot for catering to large groups in Kendall Square. Thank you so much!!

I was very disappointed with my experience at Cambridge Pizza. It took an agonizing 30 minutes for my food to be prepared, and when it finally arrived, it was just tossed in a bag without anyone bothering to announce my name. To make matters worse, the portion of my Mac and cheese bites, which cost $8, was extremely small. I would recommend saving your time and money; there are much better pizza places available. Delivery would definitely be a better option.

"I had been looking forward to dining at Tallula for awhile. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype and at the end, was priced like a Michelin starred experience without the menu or experience of one. Food: I came with a friend and we both got the tasting menu with the bread basket to start. The bread and butter was actually excellent and the best part of the meal. The opening appetizer was raw scallops, and that was actually quite nice, as it had a floral and peppery taste to it. The 2nd course was fois gras with (more) bread. Perhaps this is where I wish we didn?t start with the bread basket, as the bread with the foie gras seemed like cheap white toast in comparison. The foie gras itself, I felt was ruined. Perhaps I am a purist, but whatever gelatin and berry mix they made with the foie gras taste overly acidic and fruity and took away from the rich, earthy, buttery ness that one would expect. Next up was the pasta I had squid ink cavatelli and my friend had the lobster pasta. Both portions were laughably small and the lobster dish was bland; overall nothing special and we both felt we would get a much better dish at any other restaurant. The protein was a short rib, which was too salty, and again, felt like it lacked novelty. Finally was desert, which again was very bread forward with 2 dense brownies for each serving again, nothing novel, and we could barely swallow it after what felt like such a bready meal as is. Service was okay, I believe our server could tell that we didn?t like the food (we didn?t finish most dishes) and ended up avoiding us in favor of other tables, and it was quite clear we weren?t getting serviced as kindly as other patrons. It also didn?t help they put us at a table right by the door that was constantly open/closing on a 20 degree evening. After a 4 course tasting menu, 1 drink, tax/tip, the meal ended up being $132 just for myself. It was a bit upsetting because I have had truly exquisite Michelin experiences at that price point. Overall, glad I experienced it, but likely will not be returning or recommending."

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
