"I understand that many restaurants are currently experiencing staffing issues, but it would be really helpful to have some signs on your doors informing walk-in customers that your lobby is closed. I placed a pick-up order through DoorDash today, but when I arrived, the doors were locked. No one answered the phone, and there were easily 15 cars waiting in the drive-thru. This isn’t very customer-friendly, especially for local employees like me who only have a 30-minute lunch break. Perhaps it would be better to pause food delivery services until staffing improves. It’s misleading to advertise pick-up orders when customers are left waiting over 20 minutes in the drive-thru."

"I, together with a group of ladies, had lunch on Saturday. I was pleasantly surprised that NONE of the concerns in a review that I read before going existed when we were there. The service of Bryan was efficient and attentive (he told me he needed an increase!!!! and the food served in time and was delicious. I had the soup of the day and the lobster roll.... the role was amazing!!! I would recommend and recommend the restaurant to my friends. This was the third time I had lunch at Center Street Grille and all three times it was GREAT!!!"

"What a wonderful place?and meal! The poster child for what I think a neighborhood bistro should be. My wedge salad was unique, super refreshing and a great start to my evening. The short rib entree is probably the best preparation of a short rib I?ve ever had! The meat was so tender and juicy, the fat rendered away just perfect! Loved the sweet potato accompaniment. FWIW, the Swiss chard was a bit on the cool side not sure what happened here. Nonetheless, a great entree to welcome the first, frosty days of fall. Daniel did a great job helping me navigate the best dishes on the menu and the perfect wines for each. Love that they feature Old World wines. Great background music too on the old school, vinyl record turntable. Just a lovely evening. Thank you, Note."

"We stopped here on w whim as we were passing through back to Maryland. Garlic parm wings were really good. Maybe a tad too crispy (which is weird for me because I like my wings a bit extra crispy), but I was still really happy with the flavor. Very buttery too. I'll try the medium ones next time and hopefully I'll be rewarded with a really nice buttery hot sauce flavor. Hubby got the steak sandwich. Roll soft but toasted, so nice crisp outside. Meat was great, but it seemed almost like gyro or sausage, so I'm not really sure if it's steak or not. But delicious nonetheless. The fries were very much like McDonalds fries but waaay better. Antipasto salad was on point. Huge and full of stuff. Perfectly dressed with an Italian type of dressing. Not overpowering. The service was perfect. Orders taken promptly by friendly staff, and didn't have to wait too long. I will definitely be back."

"I’ve been here many times now and I just had to write a review for my recent visit because our experience was very disappointing and nothing was done about it by any of the staff members. My husband and I came for brunch and since there was a25 minute wait, we asked to sit at the bar but I still put my name down for the waitlist. Upon sitting at the bar, it took about5-10 for the bartender to acknowledge us and give us menus, then another 5-10 minutes for him to bring us water. We quicklydecided on what we were ordering since we were pretty hungry, however it seemed they were understaffed and the bartender took awhile before he took our order. Once the food came out, I was very excited about my pancakes since I had been craving goodpancakes. Upon taking my first slice of the pancake, it just fell apart. I was surprised and a little confused as I kept pickingit up and it kept falling apart. The composition of the pancake was faulty and missing something. It should not be this crumbly.Also, my pancake was over cooked and brown on one of them. My bacon was also over cooked and was charred and hard. My husbandgot the sausage gravy and chicken with biscuits and he said his food was very dry. Needless to say, we were both underwhelmedwith the quality of our food. I did ask the bartender about who the manager was and if there’s a manager for the kitchen. Ithen asked if I had feedback about the food, who could I talk to. He said he could pass on the message to the chefs. So, I toldhim about the pancakes and he said that another customer said the same thing. I kept looking around for the manager and made eyecontact but he did not pick up on my signal and I wasn’t going to bother him since he seemed to have his mind on somethingelse. It would’ve been nice if he did come by to check in with the customers to ask how things were. I don’t know if thebartender ever gave my feedback to the kitchen staff but I hope they become aware of it."
