"Overall, I've found everything I've eaten here to be quite good and it definitely lives up to the standards of authentic yard food. However, I gave a 2-star rating for the service due to the long wait times. Customers using food delivery services (like Uber Eats or DoorDash) are prioritized, which increases the wait for those dining in. There's only one person attending to in-store customers while the rest focus on fulfilling delivery orders. The atmosphere also received a 2-star rating mainly because of the terrible parking situation in the area. That being said, I do appreciate that they are open consistently, and the food is generally fresh. I've tried a variety of dishes here, including oxtail, jerk chicken, fried chicken, all the soups, all the porridges, escovitch fish, mac and cheese, fried dumplings, and ackee and callaloo. You really can’t go wrong with any of them. Overall, I highly recommend this place—it's a favorite in the Bronx!"

Worst place to come if you are expecting a moderate to fast customer service. Sometimes, I feel these people don’t care about the line. They move slow, talk and don’t act like it is a business. Plus, the food is not as good it used to be.

I'm good with this food stop..... FOR ME! but I asked the lady at the window IF they use flour in their Oxtails BECAUSE my 21 yo son is HIGHLY allergic to gluten. The lady said... We don't use flour the Oxtails... Ok GREAT! NO.. NOT GREAT AT ALL LADY!!! Well, We ate just before hitting the road to Maryland and for most of the trip he's in pain.
