"We also tried the fried garlic ribs. While they could have used a bit more flavor complexity and weren’t quite as salty as I'd hoped, they were still tasty. The three baos took a little longer to arrive due to some chaos in the kitchen, particularly because the restaurant was quite busy. However, all our impatience vanished the moment we took a bite. They were fluffy, steaming, and packed with flavor. Each bao had a unique filling, and I was glad we ordered all three: one with pork, another with a mix of crushed cabbage and rice noodles, and the last one with a sweet glaze. Absolutely amazing! And did I mention the free rice? Nothing beats free rice. Overall, I love the modern aesthetic of this authentic Chinese restaurant, and I will definitely be back with my family and friends in the future!"

While there aren't many clearly labeled vegan options, the food is excellent and the ambiance is lovely. Additionally, it's quite affordable given the generous portions. This is definitely one of my favorite spots in St. Louis!

This St. Louis restaurant serves outstanding Asian cuisine, with a wide-ranging menu that showcases a variety of dishes. The service is impressive, receiving a rating of 4 out of 5. The atmosphere is also pleasant, earning the same 4 out of 5 rating. For lunch, you can anticipate spending between $10 and $20 per person.

Corner 17 offers a wide variety of vegan options that are clearly marked on the menu. All their flavored teas come with lychee jelly, which is also vegan-friendly. I particularly enjoyed the veggie bao stuffed with vegetables and tofu. I also ordered the veggie stir-fry with hand-pulled noodles and simply mentioned that I wanted it vegan. Everything was absolutely delicious!

This casual restaurant offers a diverse array of bubble tea and a variety of Chinese dishes. You can enjoy handmade noodles, dumplings, roasted meats, fish, and a range of spice levels from mild to intense. Be prepared for a wait during peak hours, as it's a popular spot for students! Takeout is just as popular as dining in. There’s also a convenient parking area located right at the corner. View menu

This Asian restaurant located in University City at the Delmar Loop is one of my top picks. The food is exceptionally fresh and tasty, particularly their handmade noodles and dumplings, which are a standout. The General Tso's chicken is especially impressive, bursting with rich flavors. They also have a wide selection of Bubble Teas and other beverages. I often get takeout from here and strongly suggest adding it to your list of must-try dining destinations.

This relaxed restaurant offers an impressive variety of bubble tea and an extensive menu of Chinese dishes. You can enjoy handmade noodles, dumplings, stir-fried meals, and a range of fish and meat choices, all available at various spice levels from mild to spicy! Be prepared for possibly longer wait times during peak hours, as it’s a favorite spot for college students. Both takeout and dine-in options are very popular. There is convenient parking just around the corner.

Wow, this place is an absolute gem! You'll be amazed by how delicious the food is. We started off with the dumplings in chili sauce and the Bao trio, both of which were incredible. For the main course, we had the pulled noodles and teriyaki chicken, and I can honestly say it was one of the best meals I've ever had. If you're in St. Louis, make sure to add this spot to your list. I have to update my review because I went back three times last week—I just can't stop raving about the noodles! I've also decided that I prefer the shaved noodles over the hand-pulled ones. View menu

I recently had the pleasure of dining here for dinner, and it was an outstanding experience. The meal cost around $20 to $30 per person, which feels quite reasonable given the quality. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect 5-star rating. The service was equally impressive, with attentive staff who ensured everything went smoothly throughout our meal. I would rate their service 5 stars as well. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, although I would give it a solid 4 out of 5. It had a nice vibe, making it a great place for a relaxed dinner. If you visit, I highly recommend trying the Pork Bao — it was definitely the highlight of my meal!

I had a disappointing experience at Corner 17 on the evening of November 10th. The restaurant was not busy, and we were seated promptly. For our appetizers, we ordered chicken skewers and vegetable egg rolls, but unfortunately, the egg rolls were cold in the middle. The staff quickly replaced them and even removed that charge from our bill. My Singapore Rice Noodles arrived promptly and were quite good; however, my friend's Orange Chicken was only lukewarm, suggesting it had been sitting out for a while. Overall, I found both the food quality and service at Corner 17 to be lacking, and I do not plan to return. Despite this, I still left a generous tip for our waiter.
