"My father-in-law wanted to eat here for his birthday a couple of weeks ago. There were of us. They pushed two tables together to accommodate. Unfortunately, we could barely move our arms. I asked for them to add another table, but they wouldn't. I think the waiter was either new or overwhelmed. We had to keep asking for extra syrup, jelly, water, etc. One person never rec'd their orange juice. Food was not hot when brought out. One person's pancakes were burnt. The manager came by the table to ask how everything was. My mother-in-law started telling her about our issues. The manager said she was not charging for any of our meals, but asked us to leave a good tip for the waiter. We did. I went to speak to the manager and said I don't feel comfortable not paying (we all did eat after all). She appreciated my offer, but again said no charge She wanted us to come back."

Awful!!!!!!. Terrible service! Was told that we only get bread if we ask for it. Wasn't busy when we were there yet took forever to order food and receive it.

Horrible! Service was bad! Steak was so salty I had to scrape off the salt just to eat it... Plus I only saw my waitress like twice so my drink was always empty!

Corporate Comfort Food. Wow, they actually had turkey and dressing on the menu when I visited, I had to get it. Everything is like cafeteria food, I've had better on a US Air Force base. Place is usually pretty busy. The interior is kitschy country with rustic wood, barrels, and a country store tourist trap. I hope foreigners don't come here thinking this is what Americans eat.

cracker barrel makes a deep effort to be consistent, so that their moats experience a pleasant and comforting eating this special load fulfills these goals well. eating meets the comfort spot as it was designed to do. every dish on the menu is intended to reconcile the cozy feeling of their years past, I cannot say whether the load is there to set up the dining room experience or if the restaurant is there to drive after the meal in the load. most likely both feed themselves much like the proverbial snake that eats it own dick if they want to cook house style they try here. cracker barrel works hard to give the moss a well-rounded experience. the first thing you see is to play a veranda full of rocking chair and huge Schecker sets. you are a great place to kill time while waiting for her table. they will wait in the regular, but not so bad. this situation is very fast. whether they go to breakfast or dinner, they can expect above-average South food finished chain style. some things are like momma, a little worse and maybe a few better. desserts are quite good in the way they don't forget to get a few nostalgic sweets out of the load out on the way out.

Cracker Barrel works hard at giving the patron a well rounded experience. The first thing you see is a porch full of rocking chairs and giant checkers sets to play with. Their country store is a great place to kill time while you wait for your table. On weekends you will usually have a wait, but not that bad. This location is very quick. Whether you go for breakfast or dinner, you can expect above average southern food done chain style. Some things are like Momma did, some worse, and maybe a few better. Desserts are usually pretty great as well. Just don't forget to grab some nostalgic candy from the store on the way out.

Nice Time at the Barrel. I walked in through the double doors of Cracker Barrel as they were held open by a greeter. She was friendly as ever. My family and I were seated next to the warm fire shortly after arriving. My young nephew was given crayons to keep him entertained A pleasant. older waiter named Pam approached and asked us for our drink orders. I ordered water and after the waiter left the table, my sister informed me that the water would taste bad. She was right. It tasted like the dank, fishiness of Lake Thunderbird, which isn’t what I wanted on my mind in the middle of winter. This was no fault of Cracker Barrel’s, however. They simply serve tap water and I prefer...read more

Outstanding Comfort Food Chain. I guess everyone's experience is different but mine has always been pleasant at Cracker Barrel. Granted, this is the only location I've ever been to and will continue to do so. I am always seated immediately and it never took long for my server to come over and take my order. The menu is pretty straightforward so I just get what I want from it. Their Breakfast menu is available the whole day. I usually get the Homemade Chicken n' Dumplins or Homemade Beef Stew Dinner Plate. Their dinner plates come with 2 sides and either with buttermilk biscuits or corn muffins (or get one of each The sides I usually get are Whole Kernel Corn and more Dumplins. I tried...read...

"It was our 30th anniversary and if the the rating was only on service, I would’ve given five stars, our server in training, Josie, and her mentor were perfect, they did absolutely everything perfectly. Unfortunately that is not the case and after spending $250 on a meal I would expect to be happy when I left but that wasn’t the case at all. The appetizer and salads were wonderful, I asked for my steak $100 bone-in ribeye to be medium at the bone because it usually is undercooked at the bone, knowing this could mean my steak would be medium well to done on the outer edge but I am okay with that because I cannot do medium rare especially on a fatty cut like a ribeye. I do not send food back at restaurants as I don’t know what they do to it as it is an insult to the cooks (who should know what medium is) and my sides were okay, the au gratin potatoes were good, next time if I ever go back I will do a baked potato but the asparagus was horribly burnt, they call it charred but it was burnt and had a rancid taste, will not order that againespecially at $12 each for a side. Again, I don’t send food back at restaurants, it isn’t good Karma for the customer. My salad was great, my wife’s salad was great but her steak medallions were way undercooked as well, she enjoyed the sides it came with and I cannot stress this enoughthe staff was wonderful, love those girls and would request them if I were to ever go back, the ambiance was niceI just wasn’t impressed for $250 plus a $65 tip Vegetarian options: Not a vegetarian restaurant by any means but lots of salads and veggie sides to try out for those who do not eat meat. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Bananas Foster Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Not sure"
