"I really enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere, along with a great selection of beers and hard ciders. The food was delicious, though the menu is mainly focused on grilled cheese sandwiches, which I found a bit pricey at $16 for just a sandwich, a handful of potato chips, and a pickle spear. The service was friendly but inconsistent; I had to wait quite a while for extra napkins and a glass of water (though I should note that the restaurant was busy during my visit). I also had to approach the hostess stand to request the check, as our servers (we had two) didn't return to our table. The use of small paper plates and plastic utensils was off-putting, especially considering our bill for three came to $120; I believe actual dinner plates and silverware would be more appropriate. Despite having traveled a distance to get there, I would consider returning."

Best service I've ever had! Hope, and Erin, were some of the best bartenders I've ever had (or will have) in my whole life! Will go again. Grilled cheeses are so good.

What few workers they had were oblivious to the people trying to order. Took so long to get someone's attention that we ended up cancelling our order after 1 beer and leaving. Staff your business properly! View menu

"The restaurant is attached to the Hilton hotel. See my review) My expectations were as low as they could go. When I entered the restaurant I was pleasantly surprised with how many people were there and the great vibe i got. I sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Holly. She welcomed me with a huge smile and I asked for a menu. The menu was more sophisticated than I thought it would be. I asked Holly for a recommendation; she explained that I couldn’t go wrong with any of the items on the menu. She mentioned the braised short ribs and I quickly said “yes”. When my food was placed in front me the aroma of the ribs made my mouth water. The first bite and every bite after that were heaven. The ribs melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes were incredible. The sautéed spinach left me wanting more. I ate everything which is something I rarely do. Holly offered me a dessert menu. This would be the true test. If the dessert turned out bad I probably would not be writing this review. Holly was adamant that I try the bread pudding. She insisted that I get a’ la mode. Let me tell you that her recommendation put this dessert over the top. It was the best bread pudding I had ever had. It tasted like French toast. I wanted to gobble it all up , but restrained myself. I regret my decision. I wish I scarfed it down. If you are near this restaurant, even a 100 miles away you need to go. I promise you will not be disappointed. The staff had smiles on their faces. They were happy and helpful. The restaurant was clean, the bar had a great selection of alcohol. The wine list was simple and had something for every price range. I had a glass of “Flower”. My personal favorite. They offered beer from local breweries and specialty drinks. I don’t write reviews on restaurants usually but this restaurant blew me away. It was 0.2 miles from the airport. Please, treat yourself to a lovely dinner or lunch) at this restaurant. I know I’ll be back. Ps Holly, thank you for making my night. I’ll be back."

"We have been coming here for 28 years. I brought my kids here I brought my grandkids here and my mother-in-law and father-in-law live down the street quarter mile. The last few trips to Rhode Island we were unable to get to Iggy's so it's been a couple of years. We ordered the fish and chips, we ordered red chowder, white chowder and of course clam cake. To say our hearts broke is an understatement. The clam cakes used to be full of clams and had odd shapes because they were hand dropped.. these look definitely balled up like meatballs; like they were shaped.. if not frozen and then reheated. Hardly any clams in the clam cake. My husband was excited when he found one clam chunk; sarcastically excited. I remember boasting about how you could stick a spoon straight up in the chowder..not this one it was runny and watery and disgusting. It didn't even taste like clams it tasted like potato soup..barely. The red chowder wasn't even red it was like a mix between clear and red but someone decided to throw in three little canned tomato pieces. The baked scallops were soggy and disgusting and the french fries, even though I know they come frozen, we're nothing to boast about either. The fish n chips disappointed. It used to be a fish that barely fit in the container and now it's a fish that could fit in one side portion of the container. The baked scrod was not bad but it just looked ick. Iggy's threw a small piece of fish in with some squishy side vegetables and some rice pilaf that look like it came out of a bag premade. All of the lemons they gave us were disgusting and smelled like soap and were oily; so we had to throw them out. The only pictures I could take was right before my husband dumped it all down the sink. We had guests for lunch who had never had Iggy's and we must have boasted and boasted about it for hours before it arrived. We spent well over $240 on this order and I feel like we got ripped off big time by Iggy's. We will not come back anymore. I can understand the price hikes and I can understand the economy but I cannot understand changing recipes that made this place famous. I now feel 100% confident that my white chowder is better than theirs any day of the week. And that is something that I would never have said over the two plus decades we have been coming here. Is so sad when a childhood memory turns into an adult nightmare. Do better Iggy's... Just do better. Economy be damned don't screw with the chowder and the clam cakes. After all that's what made you famous and that was the original menu. -Sad and disappointed, Local Oakland Beacher. They're so-called red chowder is picture here and my mother-in-law sink. I should have just set my money on fire."
