"I haven’t been to many Cuban restaurants (or any that I can remember recently), and this place didn’t disappoint! I love guavas, so I had to try their guava mimosa which hit the spot. I got an appetizer of their plantain chips with guacamole. The guacamole all by itself was fresh and delicious, and I really enjoyed the plantain chips with it! For my main course, I went with the ropa vieja, which was shredded steak with a tomato sauce, onions, and peppers that came with a side of beans and yellow rice. The meal was filling and super tasty! I will admit though that I did enjoy my girlfriend’s pollo asado Havana bowl even more! Also know that we were lucky to get a table, so definitely make a reservation before you go. Overall, the staff was excellent, the food was delicious, and you should go on a nice summer day to enjoy their outdoor seating!"

sitting outside on the walkway area to dinner. the table service was friendly and helpful, and eating came in a reasonable time also with a full restaurant. and it was one of the best Latin restaurants we met in the usa.

Molly was our waitress. She has amazing attitude. Greeted us kindly with her name. Food is amazing! Had plantain chips and guacamole. Superb. For entree I had the pollo tropical with yellow rice and Molly suggested the black beans. She did not miss.Would 100 percent recommend!!! The plate my bf had was The Lenchon. Both came with mojo sauce which has a citrus flavor. Theyhad spanish music playing loudly which felt like a club. Something I enjoy. If you want it to be private, it's not the place foryou.

everyone talks about this place, so when I was in milwaukee, I had to go. the decor is beautiful...love the high ceilings and bold colors. the pressed sandwich was super delicious. I also had black beans that were unfortunately on the side of the country. the plantain chips were excellent. the saltiness of chips overcome the drab aromen of guacamole. the chicken and raisin emanadas were incredible. very tasteful, and the baked was tender and flaky. my mohito was perfect. I was there for lunch and it wasn't really busy, so the service was ok.

"This restaurant was really trying to be the third coast by dumping the entire ocean 's worth of salt into their dishes. I have never been so thirsty in my life the day after I ate here. With the number of great reviews on top of the beautiful interiors, I had such high expectations for this restaurant that I happily brought my partner and his father (who traveled from out of the country to visit to the restaurant. Imagine my disappointment and embarrassment for bringing them here, only to be given overpriced and oversalted food. The only redeeming factors of the restaurant were the interior design (absolutely gorgeous , the potholes (delicious but still salty , and our waitress who served us in the mezzanine on 10/8 (I forgot her name, sorry! . When we first got our appetizer--the mushrooms, we were literally eating a spoonful of salt at a time. I RARELY send back food, but I had to send the mushrooms back before the dish induces any hypertensive emergency among us. After we got the new mushrooms dish after telling our waitress we wanted just 1/4-1/3 of the salt, the dish still came back extremely salty and the waitress said the cook apologized for ACCIDENTALLY DOUBLE-SALTING THE DISH. I 'm sorry, but WHAT. All of our subsequent dishes then tasted all just like salt without a hint of other seasoning. I wasn 't sure if it 's because our tastebuds were so skewed after eating so much salt that our remaining dishes just didn 't taste that great. It was just salty. Anyways we walked out with a $260 bill for three people which was outrageous for this quality of food in Milwaukee of all places. I 'm not sure how people are raging about this restaurant. I have sworn to never return and have told others to avoid going to this restaurant altogether. Opt for somewhere else for better quality food that 's actually worth the cost."
