""The atmosphere, lighting and decor is wonderful and very comfortable. Our service was outstanding! Maureen was well versed on the menu items and she suggested items to us and described things when asked. The assistants were all very professional as they served us popovers and other items. They expertly cleared the table and were always very hospitable. We appreciated the nicely attired staff, the crisp white jackets and the neat and clean look of the FOH and BOH staff as well as the physical restaurant. Food was very good and the drinks were excellent as well. The wine list is impressive with many options for wines by the glass. Parking: We parked at 10 St James and took the elevator up to the level where Davio’s is located. No need to walk outside in the pouring rain. So convenient!"

So so good! Everything we got was exceptional! Carlos was so helpful and nice! He brought us macaroons at the end as a little treat. Will be back again!

Amazing work and Service by everyone working that night. As Revere Hotel Management it was a pleasure and fun taking my Fiancé and friend to dinner at Davio's.

Food was wonderful! Everything was cooked to perfection. Our waiter was very attentive. My friend and I wanted to share our meals and the kitchen was so kind as to do it for us! Absolute 10 out of 10! View menu

Consistently outstanding, even the fish dishes. The waitstaff are true professionals. Service is always excellent. The cocktails are superb. The dining room is enjoyable, although the chairs are a bit too large, bulky, and heavy.

Davios service for gluten allergies is superior to any other restaurant in the Boston area. I order the special today and the entire staff made sure that I was safe and accommodated. Thank you to Shannon, Tania, and Zeke—you’re all amazing, thank you so much!

I had the dover sole and oysters. The oysters were delicious, the sole a little bit over cooked and without any garnish other than the butter blanc. Great atmosphere, but not sensational food.I think if I were to come back I would stick with italian cuisine classics. View menu

"The restaurant is a decent spot overall. The steaks and scallops were tasty, although I wasn't a fan of the corn. The bread had a unique twist, which was interesting. The service was a bit slow, but overall satisfactory. Unfortunately, I have to say that the Baked Alaska, which is my favorite dessert, didn't meet my expectations."

March 3rd, I called the Chestnut Hill location to ask what time they closed at the time it was 9:30 p.m. he said that they were not taking take out orders over the phone so I said well what if I get there before 10:00 before closing can I dine in he said yes I got there at 9:45 they locked the doors so I wasn't able to get in. The other locations except Braintree have a tendency to start shutting down at 9:30 or quarter till closing. I called the Following morning to address my concerns I noticed the same Hostess on the phone I asked to speak to the manager he told me that the manager will give me a call back he was busy I've never received a phone call. I'm pretty sure management hasn't rec...

"No soup/sandwich shop compares in terms of price per quality, portion size, and different options in the area. I only started ordering from here about 2 weeks ago and I’ve now had 7 different kinds of soups and 4 different kinds of sandwiches after the first order I started ordering two soups and a sandwich aka a soup to save for later because they’re just that good, every one of them. Price is so very reasonable and depending on which combo you get you can make out with a full sized sandwich and large sized homemade soup for $14.While it’s hard to recommend one thing over another in this circumstance since it’s all been great in their own ways, the Chicken Chowder is something I plan on getting a quart of next time it’s available. The Chicken Barley and Chicken Lemon Rice are ones I plan on getting quarts of in the future as well, and that’s not to discount the Chicken Noodle, Beef and Veg Noodle Stew, French Onion, and the current seasonal Chilled Gazpacha (which I probably wouldn’t have even tried it wasn’t from these guys . It’s all top quality. The Chicken Tarragon sandwich is my favorite in terms of sandwiches although it can’t combo with a soup as of now (please let us! . The best cheap soup combo sandwich is a tossup between the Cilantro Tuna and Ciabatta Sandwich, which are both incredible in their own ways. The only few drawbacks to this place are they don’t have every soup they make every day, are only open until 4PM, and aren’t open on the weekends. That said it’s worth it to plan accordingly for this. I never review anything but this place is worth it it’s the best if you’re a soup and sandwich person like I am."
