Deep South Barbeque

I stopped by this place on 2/15/17 to give it a tryI must say, I am a very picky eater and very picky about bbq.

Best bbq, hands down! No one compares. Don't tell me about all these over hyped, over priced bbq joints around the city....I've tried them all. Deep South wins everytime!!!

I had the regular rib plate. The ribs where tender and very good. They can keep the spaghetti n cheese or find a better recipe. Yams were good as well as the bread pudding. Overall I would eat here again.

Deep South BBQ is now my favorite BBQ stop.. Got the Rib Sausage dinner with 2 sides and drink $13)... Ribs without the sauce was perfect.. Baked Beans were good and so was the sausage... Definately will be back

Came here for the first time and as a food blogger this is one of the BEST BBQ RESTAURANTS by far from the greens to the mac n cheese. Atmosphere was so warm and inviting but overall if you want some good food in your mouth come to Deep South...

LUNCH REVIEW: Ordered the chicken plate w/2 sides.The chicken is so moist (breast and wing) and perfectly balanced with smoke!! I requested my bbq sauce on the side, i prefer to try the meat by itself. OMG, the cheese spaghetti is the bomb!! The greens weren't seasoned with meat, just plain. 1st time trying this place, definitely going back to try the ribs and other sides.

I used to work here as a cook a long time ago, the food was great then and i am sure it is now. Veronica owns this resturant and she comes in every morning to assist with the cooking before she herself, heads to work. The bread pudding and everything is great. If you visit Baton Rouge, LA. Make it a point to stop in and try your favorite BBQ meal, you won't be disappointed. View menu
