"Even with a large party for a birthday dinner, this was a very nice dining experience! Our server was very thorough and patient without rushing us or making us feel like a burden. Our food came out in a timely manner and everyone got the correct orders.Appetizers and salads came out first, then entrees just as they were ordered. The fries were definitely homemade and fresh! Igot the tri tail, which was the special for the day and it was amazing! The fish wasn't too salty, the sauces brought all theflavors together and the dish was more than filling for the price. It's a very nice setting, not too loud, not too quiet,perfect for date night, girls night, or just a relaxing dining experience. I'll definitely be back!"

Every time I visit my son at LSU, I make sure to dine at this restaurant. It never fails to impress me with its delicious offerings, such as the fried green tomatoes and the shrimp and grits.

From the moment we entered the building we knew we were in for a treat! Everything was absolutely perfect and delicious! Fun fact I now know what a pistolette is and I want 20 to go please. Seriously this place is amazing 9.875/10

Our first time there, we have been wanting to come for a while.cozy and romantic atmosphere,excellent service also.we started with some cocktails then had the cornbread which was in a cast iron skillet with steens cane syrup on top and the cinnamon butter! Yum I had the shrimp and grits and my wife had the Cajun grouper,both were delicious.we finished with the crème brûlée again was very good. Highly recommend them

An absolute gem in the heart of downtown. The menu is full unique and delicious Creole options. Our meals were cooked to perfection. The flavor in each bite had the right balance of spice with savory. My only complaint is too many incrediblesounding dishes on the menu. Our server Sarah was attentive, helpful and has pride in her profession. The drink menu was loadedwith amazing sounding beverages too. If I could give it more stars I would! Looking forward to returning soon.
