"Literally 10/10!!!! I was visiting Baton Rouge for the week and just happened upon this place. The customer service was amazing, I ordered PoBoys to go and was offered a drink while I waited. The hostess was very engaging, talking to me while I waited. When I come back, I will definitely return to dine in and enjoy the full experience. The hubs and I came in town from Missouri for his work conference. We’re heading home tomorrow, but had to try some local food before we left out. This place was amazing! My friend and I were there on a Wednesday. The special was Chicken Fried Steak with mashed potatoes, green beans and a biscuit. Simply delicious. Going back this Wednesday with my hubs. It was THAT good . I forgot to mention that the onion rings are to die for. I ordered the small fried fish plate with french fries and two hush puppies. It was delicious and vary filling the portions were huge if that was the smaller plate I can only imagine how big the bigger plate would be. So to say the least I have to say I was very satisfied through with my first experience. The only thing I would change about it if I had to it would be the wait time, but it was during the dinner rush so that is to be expected.

Favorite restaurant in Baton Rouge. It's like a Mom and Pop atmosphere with Grandma's cooking coming out the kitchen. Don't forget to request a slice of their bread, so you won't have to lick the plate!
