I loved the nutella s’mores donut. they torture it to get the marshmallow beautiful and crispy. the maple bacon donut was good, but not the best. a wonderful place and wonderful owner. they are family friends with gurnee donuts, and if they weren't there, they must also try them out!"

"It had been awhile since we had dined at Gianni’s and my spouse and I decided to celebrate our anniversary dinner there. We started with cocktails and Sicilian Calamari that was fresh and flavorful. I had a great wedge salad and my wife had a house salad with creamy garlic dressing. Our entrees consisted of the cod special my wife ordered that was topped with crab and served with asparagus. I put together a “make your own pasta” with delicious cavatelli, artichoke hearts, crumbled sausage in a Arrabbiata sauce. We ended with desserts of cannoli’s and pistachio gelato. Our server was Angie and she was attentive, sweet and efficient, even though it was a very busy evening. The quality of food was on point and the service was excellent. We won’t wait as long between visits."

"The food at this restaurant was delicious and the service provided by Anthony was exceptional. However, I was surprised when I received my bill totaling nearly $300 and noticed additional charges for the premium martini that my wife had ordered. She had requested her dirty martini to be made extra dirty, resulting in a $0.25 upcharge, as well as a $0.50 upcharge for bleu cheese olives. While the prices for items on the menu were already high, I was taken aback that they would charge extra for ingredients that are typically included in the drink at other establishments, and then list them separately on the bill. It would have been more reasonable to simply list the martini as $19 rather than $18 and add the additional charges. Unfortunately, I do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future."

"My family and I have ordered takeout from Rep’s Place on several occasions. And each time we’ve thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The burgers are huge and cooked perfectly even though I like mine well done. Mine have been cooked throughout while still remaining juicy on the inside. Their onion straws are a really tasty alternative to fries for your side dish. One suggestion is to ensure you are not late getting your food because I have found the longer the food sits in the styrofoam containers, the more “soggy” it gets. I haven’t experienced this with the burgers but I have with the fries and onion straws. But, when you rely on takeout, I’m not sure a perfect packaging solution exists to keep items warm, yet crispy. I am already looking forward to my next giant and tasty burger at Rep’s!!!"
