"3.5 stars! Do Rite Donuts and Chicken is a popular place known in Chicago for their delicious donuts and fried chicken. During my visit I tried her Candied Maple Bacon and Pistachio Meyer Lemon Donuts. The Candied Maple Bacon Donut had a beautiful texture, the donut was fluffy and not too dense. The Pistachio Meyer Lemon Donut had a beautiful citrus taste, but the pistachio taste was somewhat mutated and the texture was also slightly dry. Overall, while Do Rite Donuts and Chicken is a visit to their variety of donut flavor it is definitely on the sweeter side and I did not end up able to finish my donut. I wish I had ordered a sandwich to balance it, that would have been the way!"

The food was great. Freshly made to order quickly and ready. There are not many seats, but we could find some spots at the bar.

These are the best gluten-free donuts in the world, no doubt about it! They are even better than regular donuts from what I remember.

I still can't believe that someone came with the idea to make a chicken sandwich with a donut for a bungalow, and that it works totally. Of course you can.

we arrived early on a Sunday and that was our first stop! we ordered the spicy chicken sandwich with donuts instead of rolls online. unfortunately they ran.

We stopped her one morning for breakfast. The boston crème donuts had great balance of filing. We tried the maple bacon which had a great maple taste and the smores donut. The donuts were fresh and had great flavors. We ordered ahead and picked up. The inside is tiny and it was a bit of a squeeze to get to the pick up window. View menu

This restaurant is fantastic. It was my first time dining here and I decided to try the chicken tender meal for $10. I was worried that I would only get three small nuggets, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ended up being very full. Interestingly, I ordered spicy chicken but was given regular chicken instead. Despite the mix-up, the meal was so delicious that I didn't even realize the mistake until I was halfway through my third chicken tender.

Who knew Do-Rite had chicken sandwiches. I wanted to get one of their famous donuts and ordered one of their chicken sandwiches. The donuts were amazing. The chicken sandwich was average, I didn't really get up. The rabbit was soft and buttery, but the chicken was a bit dry. The sandwich was covered with salad and Mayo. The restaurant is a bit small and hard to find. There are not many parking spaces in the area of Streeterville, so it can be difficult to visit. The interior had about 8 bar-style seating and many outdoor seats. The staff was super friendly and I got my food fast. They are eaten on Uber, so it can be more convenient to order delivery. I'm back for the donuts.

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
