"Domo is a cute and cozy sushi spot in Hayes Valley that's perfect for intimate get togethers. We came by at around 6pm on a weekday without reservations and got seated quickly at the bar. Small sashimi platter: We were a bit surprised by how small the platter actually ended up being. I believe the sashimi is chef's choice and may vary by day. We both liked the salmon more but probably wouldn't order this again due to the size and price. Domo Roll: Just had to order the roll named after the restaurant! This was baked (which means it takes a little more cooking time and decadently sauced. Would recommend for anyone who's a fan of warm, baked sushi rolls. Overall, a tad bit on the pricier side for the amount of food we got, but the experience and service was still pretty good! The other menu items are definitely worth a try as well. :"

I loved the little chique atmosphere of this upscale sushi restaurant! The service was friendly, a little slow, but amazing quality sushi!! It’s a bit cramped but that’s part of the experience sitting at the high tops I guess.

This tiny little sushi spot feels like a piece of home. Limited indoor and outdoor seating but the staff treat you like family and are so courteous and helpful. Sushi and appetizers were all spot on and I will definitely be back! View menu

I loved everything about this place! The service was great and very attentive. Small place, but very cute and clean. The only thing we didn't like was the fried ahi balls (I forget the actual name) We loved the:Salmon bellyNegi toroSalmon citronHamachi crudoWe went on a Monday night and got seated right away!

A great little neighborhood style sushi bar. Only counter and sushi bar seating. Good quality sushi. I can especially recommend the Black Pearl roll, albacore and scallops with truffle oil. Innovative. Interesting sake selection. We had the Kiki-Masamune Taru, which is aged in cedar casks, giving it a spicy bite. Not your high end Omekase place, but good.

Tried this sushi place out during lunch earlier this week. My friend and I ordered 4 rolls and while everything was good, nothing stood out hence the 3 star review. The avocado on top of the rolls looked smushed so presentation wise, it was just decent. Flavor wise I'd give it a 3.5/5 stars. Compared to other sushi restaurants in the neighborhood, I wouldn't mind coming back here but there are definitely much better sushi quality and presentation in SF. View menu

I'm finding fewer and fewer reasons to visit San Francisco lately, but having lunch at Domo yesterday reminded me of one of my favorite things about being here: the small neighborhood restaurants that serve excellent food that would never fly in my dusty hometown. They would never be able to serve the number of hipsters trying to get in, and that's a great thing. Anyway, we have a basic fried and mayo sauce what is shiso sushi place on just about every corner where I live, Domo's Black Pearl Roll makes me real sad about that. The quality of the scallops used has probably ruined me. Croquettes were awesome, service was wonderful too.

i love domo!! i am sucker for small and intimate spaces that feel cozy and warm. i would usually start with food but ambiance was a 5/5. an ideal date spot or 1:1 catch up spot with a friend especially at night time on the bar seats facing the window.we were feeling hungry but didn't want a huge meal so these 4 items were perfect:1 domo roll 2 IC3 crab and shrimp tempura hand roll 4 firecracker balls i personally enjoyed the ic roll cause of the lemon flavor which made it feel light the firecracker balls the most. i love anything that has a good crunch so the firecracker balls def did the trick : wouldn't order the crab shrimp hand roll again but otherwise everything was solid!

"Earlier this year Salty 's was featured in one of the top 100 places to eat in the Bay Area in 2022, and after trying it a couple times, it 's easy to see why. Quality and flavor, great customer service, it checks all those boxes. I occasionally visit the 24 hour fitness on Van Ness, and Salty 's happens to be just few short blocks away which makes it perfect when I 'm looking for a post-workout sandwich. And for those that know me, I love me my sandwiches. On my latest visit, I decided to go with the 'Glorious B sandwich, which come with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack, veggies, and garlic mayo. The blend of flavors and high quality of the turkey is no wonder it 's at the very top of the menu list. It 's one of those sandwiches, that you can bring to park and not need a ton of napkins to get through. It was well put together, with the ratio of all the ingredients matching well. Nothing overpowering, just sandwich perfection. The size of the sandwich I thought was the perfect size for my appetite. As I 've gotten older I can 't put down as much food as I used to, and after one-half I knew I could 've stopped eating, be content, saved the rest for later. But of course I ate the whole thing and nothing sounds better than taking a quick power nap right after. I love that their menu has so many different sandwich combinations, so definitely take time to check their menu before calling-in/walking-in to order because it 'll definitely save you some time. On my latest visit, I was in and out in 10 minutes. Definitely towards the top of my list of sandwiches in this part of town!"
